1:28 well not really, the salt makes the ice absorb heat quicker, so the ice itself becomes warmer but it feels colder because it's sucking more heat out of your body/whatever it's close to

I used to make ice cream using this method at a kids' parties. One time, a (drunk) aunt needed ice for her drink and used some of my waste salt-ice. I did warn her it was a terrible idea but she insisted... She immediately threw up and loudly accused me of trying to poison her. Fun times. Anyway, great video. hI! A suggestion: get a trampoline and throw the ice cream ball on the trampo while the kids are bouncing. it's what I used to do when my kids were little. it really worked fast.

Fun fact: these ice cream balls are really famous and common in India most of the ice creams are usually shaped like footballs you can just peel of the half of the cover and eat the rest of the ice cream like it's in a bowl.
