Making Isomalt Eyeballs for a Halloween Swiss Roll

If you have access to an edible printer, this cake can be made with half the cake decorating effort shown in this video! To make the irises and pupils, I use oil-based @colourmill2548 colors rubbed and brushed onto wafer paper ... capped off with some buttercream eyelids. Jeepers!
Isomalt makes the oogiest eyeballs for your Halloween treats...you definitely must give this a try!

@@PisaMind Totally! Or you could even leave it without an additional backing, depending on how thick your original isomalt pour is! the white of the wafer would probably be opaque enough to not reveal the cake color behind...
