Join me for a retro craft adventure as I design and create custom hotel key cards for my imaginary Palm Springs-inspired hotel! Using my iPad and apps like Adobe Illustrator and Procreate, I hand draw and color vibrant, funky 70’s inspired artwork and fonts to make key cards that transport you back to the better era.
Once my key card designs are perfected digitally, it’s time to bring them into the real world! I’ll head over to my Cricut machine and use my materials to meticulously cut out each key card. Using sticker paper, I’ll assemble and decorate the cards for a funky retro Palm Springs motel vibe.
The final key cards are straight out of the 1970s with their bold colors, art deco fonts, and cool palm tree graphics. Perfect for a make-believe Palm Springs getaway!
