Hi Melina, I just wanted you to know that this scrapbuster has broken my streak of not being able to do any crafts. Since I was unable to craft at all during the last few weeks of my husband‘s life, and of course in the last almost 3 weeks since he passed, I just haven’t been able to bring myself to go back into my craft room, even though now I have more than enough time to do it in this empty house all by myself. I decided to watch your video tonight and in the middle of it, I got up and came into my craft room and started punching circles and tearing circles. It feels good to be creating again. Thank you for this video. It means more to me than you’ll ever know.

Oh my goodness Lydia. I’m crying. This breaks my heart and warms it all at the same moment. You will never know how much this means to me for you to let me know this. Anytime I’m having a hard day with a project or videoing or whatever, I’m going to think of this comment and know it’s okay and just keep doing what I’m doing because it’s going to help somebody on a deeper level at some point. @@MelinaPylant thank you! Yes, please keep doing what you’re doing. It helps people more than you know. I’ve been trying to catch up on watching videos and your voice and your mom’s soothing voices help me feel like I’m not all alone in this house. I’m not a tv watcher, but my husband was, so there was always background noise before. Now it’s so quiet. I’ll be moving soon so my craft room will be packed up for awhile, but I’m determined to get these pretty flowers made tonight and post them on the group page. Thanks again!

@@penniel7072 I am settled into my new much smaller house. My bedroom doubles as my craft room, but I do have my craft room stuff all set up thankfully. Still having trouble getting fully back into crafting and Bible Journaling but I do it as I feel inspired. Life is just so different…

Hidden paperclips 🖇 I mean right !!! How adorable 🥰 Only thing stopping one is imagination!! If you have card stock spray water on them crinkle .. open a bit let dry !!! Then stack !! Oh the possibilities. Attach to top of mini cloths pins, book pages ? Written, illustrations !! “BUTE ONS” oh honey I’ll not forget that one for ever

I use painters paper for wrapping Christmas packages( think Brown paper packages tied up with string “🎵🎼🎶 these world be just DARLING attach 2 to the end of the twine !! Hurry dollar tree- green and white red and white bakers twine. On they have beige n cream too!!! Then on back of oh such darling tags name of recipient !! Place in a glass jar in your craft room for storage add personality and have them ready

I'm back. I am beyond disgusted by people who give thumbs down and nasty comments. How pathetic does someone’s life have to be that doing that to a crafter would make their life better? Today I heard that Rachel's daughter (Roxy Creations) has been trolled for raising money for animals. WHO DOES THAT??! Please don't pay attention to anyone making mean comments or thumbs down. You are wonderful! I had a complete knee replacement on Thursday and today (4th-day post-surgery) I have made a batch of these beautiful flowers. It has helped me more than I can say. You can be sure that for every one of those creeps there are 100 like me that you have helped without even knowing! I will post some of my flowers on Facebook so you can see what good you put out into the world. Too bad more people don't do the same. Their lives would be significantly improved. These are so pretty and grungy, and so do-able. I've been wanting to make paper flowers but though have I really got the time and effort to make them, but these require hardly any effort at all, and are super quick. Thanks for these Melina, I love seeing your new ideas each video 😊💕🦋 xxx

I can't believe anyone would be so crass and rude as to leave mean comments for your flowers. I find them charming and want to make some myself. I think the current political climate has unleashed in many people the idea that it is OK to be mean. Or as we in the South would say, 'ugly'. That, and the relative anonymity of the internet. So you have my greatest respect for enduring the slings and arrows of those people who are so insecure and filled with hate that they must spew hate when they speak. Best to you and your mom.

Personally, I think you're on to something-- God didn't make us cookie cutters, nor are we perfect. I have to admit that I questioned you tearing a perfectly good scallop. But, WOW! Like God, you made something beautiful out of that mess! Lol!

The scalloped one reminds me of granny style cabbage rose brooches! Super gorgeous!!! Multiple uses! Pretty As far as the alligator haters have no life but to spread negativity. Let them swish their nasty tails back to the swamp. No point in slurping slime thru a straw! Block em as you bless em on their way... God’s Customer Service Department will take care of them. They are not your problem. And you can be sure He is shaking His Head at inhumanity

How would you attach one to a paperclip?

Add double sided tape to the top of a paperclip, lay it on the back of the flower, put a small piece of card stock over the back of the flower and covering the top of the paperclip and double sided tape. Here is my hidden paperclip tutorial video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eqp_oqyQybzYl2g.html

Around the middle of the video I mention how I’m not a fan of “map” paper. Paper with map patterns on it. Could that be what you are referencing?

Tuesday afternoon I had to visit the acupuncturist. An hourlong waiting room... with a brand new Burpee Flower Catalogue. Used this technique with every flower or plant they introduced. So I had big/ medium/ small/ tiny/ automatically. Put in my little bag ready to go when I got back home. No time wasted. Figure it saved me $400.00 new trees. $250.00 Christmas trees. $200.00 hostas. $50.00 perennials. Cutting these up diminished my desire to get out and landscape in this 90++ heat. TYFT
