There is only one ingredient missing here that would make this Lembas real Lembas - Magic. I love it.

Cook some brown lentils, dry them, and powder them, then use 25% of them as substitute for flour, and it makes it waaay more filling.

One thing a lot of recipes I see get wrong is the use of corn. In the UK ESPECIALLY around Tolkien's time, "Corn" meant any type of grain...EXCEPT "Corn" as we know it in the US, even today that usually has a specific name to denote it from other types of grain. So it's more than likely this was a type of wheat or whole wheat bread or some such. To be fair this looks like it does from the movie but I'd actually like to see someone try to make a recipe that isn't a type of cornbread or bread that uses cornmeal.

Think it coulda worked with the new start DOFP allowed but fumbled it. For the villains they coulda just had magneto still be fighting for mutants and immediately team up with apocalypse who also wants supremacy. Problem is apocalypse is too brutal, will kill mutants just for disagreeing with him, and wants to commit genocide and wipe out all humans so magneto works with the xmen but still doesn’t agree with them. Oh and make us give af about a bunch of the X-men and mutants we’re watching Also think the Wolverine escape scene coulda worked better if he was almost mindlessly killing anyone cuz if they’re in that facility he’d prob think they’re all bad guys and have it where an xman or multiple have to try and survive as he kills everyone. Have the camera follow the X-men that try to escape his wrath and get where they need to as he just murders his captors behind them hoping he leaves them alone. Like that scene in Deadpool 2 where a thug is trying to run away from Deadpool as he kills everyone
