Making Miter Splines without a Jig // Picture Frame

I made a Picture frame using Miter Splines. This was a fun sentimental build that used white oak and Walnut for the splines. The frame has a slot that you can easily slide your photos in and out of the frame as well.

Great idea on how to change out the photos. I always hated the frames with the cardboard backs.

No riving knife, ripping 2 long narrow pieces side by side... Nasty kickback about to happen be careful people!! Other than that, it's good job and pretty!

Looked lovely man, really nice frame. I do like glass/plexi in my frames, but I also really like being able to quickly replace the photo; big fan of the open slot that you have on this one. 👍
