Great video! You can feel the love and chemistry between these two. Good on her for going through with it. The cold doesn't really get much "easier" to deal with, and that's the whole point of it. It's a practice of discipline by putting yourself in a highly uncomfortable situation for a set amount of time, and the reward is feeling highly invigorated, energized, body recovery, and really a plethora of other health benefits. I found that if anything got easier over regular practice of cold showers, it was the beginning part - you don't dread getting in as much and you kind of learn to enjoy the practice of suffering, lol.

With more mass you spend a lot less energy per mass heating your body (besides body fat being better at isolating the body from temperature changes). So, yeah. That explains both Shaw's easy time with the tub and the wife's... experience with it.

@@TimmyTurner421 he's talking about conditioning from the cold by sitting in the cold tub, not doing fitness. Although a healthy circulatory system from working out could aid in body heat regulation.
