I saw people iron it on the back side next after it's stuck down on the first side, and this prevented it from rolling up.

You could put it on card stock and make a card or you can make covered note pads

Awesome but the back of it would stick with mod podge or would act as parchment paper ?

The back of my freezer paper is uncoated so can be glued.

Hello again i saw on Amazon, that they have parchment paper, either as a lighter tan unbleached or they offer it as bleached white, so does it really matter on which one i should get, also are there any creative uses for wax paper?

I had never seen the unbleached parchment until you mentioned it. To answer your question it shouldn't matter. I like the crinkliness of parchment paper and may get some of the unbleached when I'm able. Thanks for letting me know about it. As for wax paper, it can be kind of/sort of a substitute for vellum if you want something semi-transparent, but in my experience it does not stick well with glue, probably would require sewing -- I'm not even sure if double sided tape would hold because of the waxy surface.

The parchment paper is only to protect your iron so color doesn't matter

Thanks for sharing this video, i don't have any parchment paper right now, would it work, to just use a piece of regular copying papar?

I don't think so Melody. The freezer paper has a plastic coating on one side that melts and that is what the napkin sticks to. With copy paper you might try the Mod Podge method I used here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ga91qZd2rrHGpWg.html

Melody, I'm so sorry. Please disregard my previous comment. Now, after sleeping, I realize you were saying parchment paper not freezer paper. So, if you are talking about the parchment paper I put between the napkin and the iron then yes, copy paper should work. Test a small section first to be sure the stickiness of the freezer paper doesn't seep through the napkin just enough to make you copy paper stick to the napkin. So sorry about the confusion.

@@marcydavis Hi Marcy, thanks again for the quick reply, hey i looked on Amazon, i found lots of choices for the parchment paper, i decided on a pack of bleached white, i got a pkg of 46, it was $7.98 & i saved with a $3.00 coupon, i can also use this paper for oven baking & even in my air-fryer, which i love using, thanks.

Hi, the parchment paper is just to protect your iron so any plain paper might work but it might burn from the high heat of your iron but parchment paper is designed for the oven and can take the heat. An old pillow case might work or a piece of any cloth, but parchment paper would be better and you can keep re-using the same piece many times, plus it's great for baking cookies or sheet pan roasting. (No clean-up)
