Had the privilege to stop by his house in Far Rockaway, New York. After hearing his invitation for a cup of coffee on his album, of course. Got off the subway and wandered down the street to his neighborhood with the sun setting pink and purple. I saw his Grateful Dead tapestry though the window. The vibes were just unreal. Kiki answered and had told me he left to tour Mexico... I left him a note written on a water bottle saying hello. Fast forward to this year... I live in LA now. I was at a Homeshake concert and DeMarco and Jerry Paper showed up. I finally got the chance to tell Mac about our missed encounter in NYC. Then he asked me for a cigarette. It all came full circle.

A lot of comments here of people saying he's living like he's poor. Just judging by the Synthesizers he has, Dudes definitely making something. I see here a Yamaha DX7 and Roland Juno-60 (which are around 2 Grand). In other videos I've seen him have a Roland JX-3P and Sequential Prophet 5 (which go for 4+ Grand)!

Assuming this was filmed with an NTSC VHS camcorder, the video's max vertical resolution doesn't even exceed 250 lines, yet we willingly waste our bandwidth watching the 720P version... Probably the only thing 720P in the entire video are the titles. On top of all that, the source video has a 4:3 aspect ratio, so this was a VHS source rendered as a pillarboxed 16:9 aspect ratio 720P clip. This madness must stop. Who's watched this on a 120 Hz+ display? That makes everything even more ridiculous. Hope you all feel the same.
