Reminiscnet of the time I used to watch the BTS of Porter making Shelter's music and MV. I just can't believe how beautiful "Everything Goes On" turned out, be it the amazing song or the touching animation, it was absolutely perfect and the entire SG2022 event finally gave me that last push to start playing League and icl it's been a fun few days

Beautiful. I always love hearing Porter talk about his creative process and what's going through in his mind when he is making the music I love to listen to. That was so neat to see a bit of the symphony playing the song as well! I figured he just used a synthesized sound for those beautiful strings in the song but to see that it was actually done with real instruments, well, it just makes sense why they stand out so gorgeously in the song. :)

Being a long time fan of Porter and seeing him come this far spawned tears in my eyes. He knows how to access the emotions and feelings hidden within the heart's deepest corners with his work. This theme and the song just exude radiance and comfort all over.

This song is a true masterpiece. It really hits hard when I listen to it during difficult times. There’s just something so special about Porter’s music. Sometimes, it reminds me of something heartbreaking, other times, it’s full of hope. I truly admire him and his endless creativity and musical expressions. I get really emotional and start crying every single time I listen to one of his songs… but everything goes on!

I ain't gonna lie after first time listening to "Everything goes on", I quickly fell in love with it, the SG story and most of all Porter's Voice. The song really gives me nostalgia like I'm reliving my childhood and it has magical vibes in it where I feel like I'm in a fantasy world! Yeah music production of riot games prove their amazing music again, they never let us down. 10/10 NO! 100/10!

I love how everyone in the comments knew Porter Robinson before league and its amazing to see two titans which the communities already pulled together, coming together and doing something that actually exceeds our expectations and meets what we desired from these two forces together. When I heard the song the first time I didn't think much of it... I guess I was also mostly focused on the beautiful animation. But I've been coming back to it every day since for some reason and get extremely emotional every time I hear it. No idea why, this song just brings out certain memories and feelings for me.

I gotta check out his music. He seems really genuine. And this song still make me cry still. I love 2 paths they were going with kai'Sa and Xayah. But for me, Xayah and Rakans hits me more. Star Guardian is on the top of lore when it comes to league.

"It just gets me every time" Yeah sure, and now I've been crying 45 out of the 50 times that I listened to the song. The 5 times that I managed not to cry were only because I was fetching a new handkerchief.

Porter has this gift of pulling an emotion out of a person through his music and lyrics and he just keeps getting better and better with each release. This song hit me so hard when I first heard it with the Start Guardian premiere because it helped round out this story to help you feel for the characters. Then sitting down and listening more to the lyrics, hit me harder becaue of someone close to me being in late stage dementia. "Don't look for me, I'm just a story you've been told." and "Then I felt you on my shoulder, and you weren't suffering anymore" just...wrecked me. Thanks Riot for bringing in such a beautiful artist for this event.

I will always be enraptured by how porter is able to write songs that feel like just a glimpse into an expansive world. Songs like ‘sad machine’, ‘years of war’, ‘shelter’, ‘unfold’ and now ‘everything goes on’ all feel like snippets from stories that would take hours to understand. What’s amazing about these songs though is despite only being 3 minutes out of these larger journeys, they can somehow make you feel as though you understand all the emotional weight behind them, even with only those blissful 3 minutes.

THis song just brings a tear to my eye everytime the line "When we are gone, everything goes on" comes. This is a masterpiece and I believe Riot always nails music. Love you for this Mr.Robinson and plz buff tristana. Peace

I didn't really understand the lyric "All the vines that keep you tethered to your room" until I heard the full version of the song. The vines are iv tubes and other medical cables. I just recently FINALLY heard the full song and it slammed into me like crazy. I think I cried when first watching the music video and cried again at the full song a full three months later. Might be something I'd love to have played at my funeral one day. A perfect combination of sad and uplifting.

As a composer myself, I really love how Porter Robinson breaks down his thought process. It's fascinating to see how other people put together music. Building the song around a single musical motif and message is something I do with my songs, and it's quite reassuring to know it isn't a bad idea. EDIT: Also, wanting to write your new favorite song hits hard for me. I always end up obsessing over my newest piece, listening to it on repeat, singing it constantly like a madman. It's a very chaotic and beautiful process.

I just wanna talk to him now. Wanna know what other lines had that emotional impact as he was writing the song that was akin to "I'm just a story you've been told". The line "cause when we're gone, everything goes on" is also extremely sad - makes me feel like the he's trying to put distance between them in order to comfort her, but we feel how sad it must be for her to hear that - that their love is just an inconsequential part of the universe.

His music has always had an element of magic to it, that you could really grasp onto and feel. the fusion of the song, the lyrics, melody, with key moments in the animation really drive it to a world beyond. I really felt it for days afterwards, as it played in my head on repeat, and that just does not happen with as many songs that I've listened to. Big thank you to the team who worked with Porter Robinson. I don't think it would have been anywhere as profound if not for the blending of visuals with his song.

Man, ive been playing league for so long and ive lost the original people I played the starguardian events with. Those were some of the best memories i have and as a Xayah player i lost my Rakan. Starguardian has always held a special place in my heart and this song really hits everything i needed it to. Hearing the intentions behind the creative process really drives it home too.

When I 1st heard this song, it made me cry. I lost my fiance 2 years ago at COVID pandemic in Brazil and I just couldn't go through without him. I was lost, we couldn't say goodbye to each other and it was just killing me inside. The kindness and the love in this song is too close from him and helped me to breath again. The last seconds when Xayah had flashes of Rakan, I shouted together... 10x a lot for this amazing work. It meant a lot to me.

I could listen to Porter talk about his music and passions for hours and not get tired of it. Truly a fantastic musician and an amazing song overall!

When I heard this song for the first time I cried. This song hit so hard with me…I recently survived a very traumatic event that took friends away from me and almost took me away and seeing me this past year fighting back darkness and suffering reminded me that my husband stayed with me even when it was very difficult. After hearing the song I finally saw how i have accepted the new me, learning to be happy again and stop living with survivors guilt. I have loved the star guardians when it was only lux and even more when Ahri became one. The song you made is helping me continue to heal and accept myself, so thank you deeply.
