Dude they took out the Hispanic and Chinese rep from the main girls and took the girl who represented stem girls out. They did a Riverdale and are making the teens overly crude and have this romance drama, like Stella has a thing with sky, Brandon and her were such a cute and healthy couple. But they put her in a toxic one and get rid of Brandon all together Musa and riven are the toxic couple and riven actually grows as a human . like I'm fine with it but they did it in such a trashy kinda way. Like they were going for an edgy show which im all for I was hyped, but it's bad script writing. And the costumes make them look like they're full grown women with desk jobs like Stella is meant to be a fashionista not a housewife of Atlanta or something y'know? And the 'fat girl' is be fatshamed? Why can't they normalize us and put her in clothes that an earth fairy would actually wear or just nice clothes? And the actor for riven looks 30 when he is meant to be 16. Also they took out the Trix and the witches school. And the throuple with riven and Beatrix and that guy, like no. We all knew miss faragonda and the head mistress of the witch school were a done deal😌 but they decided to make a throuple, I can't even🙄. And they made all the characters somehow have issues whilst also being so shallow. The only character I think is good I'd Aisha. Also there are other fire fairies? They took the literal plot of the original show out. The only thing I've enjoyed is the burned ones and bloom getting wings because them getting wings is pivotal to the show. I hated how they took it out and made it archaic for the budget. I hope in the next season they all achieve the 'archaic magic's to get wings. Anyway I know this may come out agressive but it's really not I'm just trying explain to you were not made cause they made it more mature (or immature in my opinion) and they call it diverse when they took the diverse members out. They should have said loosely inspired by the original tv show. Again this isn't meant to offend you or anything. 🥰

@@fkso8940 I never watched the original winx, but maybe if I watched it I would hate this adaptation as well😂 yeah I agree with clothing choices, they look dull. They don’t want to cast underage actors because nobody would watch a show full of kids, actors look grown for entertainment purpose, plus in original winx, they don’t look like 16 year olds to me, more like college students🤣

@@ilaria6984 it's just in the original they're all happy and fun on the surface but they all have deep rooted issues they deal with throughout the show. Like Musa and riven, they are on and off and they both work on themselves, more so riven like he has so much personal growth. And Stella was shallow but was couragous and always rose to help everyone and had a good heart and she has a boyfriend riven who is sky's like servant guy but he was pretending to be sky because sky is a prince and when she finds out he's a servant she doesn't care and they are the cutest thing ever.stella was bright and blooms first and best friend and in the show she's just rude as hell. They met on earth when bloom activated her powers on accident to save Stella then Stella brought her to alfea. And the boys school was a completely seperate place and there were witches who weren't inherently bad who had their own school too. The thing that get me revved up is they're is do much source material and they are literally using 0.1% of it. Like blooms arc of being the last fire fairy and her sister Daphne who was a nymph and the ancient witches like it was so good keep in mind I only like the first 3-4 seasons then it got kinda blegh, but even then had good plots just abit childish for me, but not immature. The girls in the show are mature for they're age and in they're adult life's continue to grow but in this adaptation they are immature In the sense of these highschool like parties(in the series the parties or more regal), but even so they didn't have to make drugs,smoking, and alcohol such a big thing like it came outta nowhere they all act like literal 12 year Olds in there though processes, which is why I find the writing bad. They give of this 12 year old immaturity level and than I see them snogging. There are only a few scenes where the young actors are actually acting there age. Like the scene with bloom and sky when they first kiss was executed well. 9h also another thing them without wings. There outfits is such an important part and then transforming and becoming stronger fairies is also important but they took it away presumably cuz of the budget. And they took out characters like Mitra and her friend who we all shipped together but because the witch school doesn't exist in this we ain't gonna see it, like those girls would have been a good couple but rjrjjrj, sorry I'm still not over the throuple. And Musa, she is met to be a fairy of music not an empath. I recommend you watch the first 3 seasons so you get the drift😃. They episodes are all on KZfaq. Like you'll see how much they desecrated it👀

It’s a remake, it’s not supposed to be the exact same , it is more mature because the original is made for children and is significantly more juvenile where as this version is made for teenagers , they catered to the target audience ....sure they have less responsibility which makes sense considering they’re supposed to be teenagers , it’s more realistic

@@eleanorchapman4169 I'm not a teenager anymore and in cartoon I can see characters doing mature decisions, being an authority to other ppl, for example Roxy. Every kingdom and schools headmasters can count on Winx and Specialist to solve problems and fight danger. In Netflix production their problems seems very stupid and unreasonable for me. Especially Bloom that have to be leader of the group. Her character is most disappointing to me bc she is role model of many girls as a so powerful character. And I'm not talking about her magic powers. Everyone can count on her. She never give up. This Bloom just being selfish and makes everybody feel bad for her "pity" life. True drama queen. That's only my opinion. You dont have to protect her Netflix creation. 😅

@@sayamizuno8920 their problems are realistic for their age , all teenagers have minor problems that they feel are huge , all teenagers are drama queens . You expect perfection from the characters when in reality no one is perfect and no one should be expected to be , it’s important that they have flaws because everyone does. It’s difficult to look up to a role model you can’t relate to . Sure Bloom is flawed and somewhat selfish but despite her flaws, in the end, she did the right thing .
