I like how your dog was supervising and making sure the job was constructed correctly.

Looks so good!! Having to cross a small bridge to get to it just makes it so much more lovely. Only thing I would add is a chaise lounge because I would stay there for hours lol. :)

Everything is awesome except the posts are wasted opportunity to build half-roof over the sitting area. I still assume that you use it to bring at least a tarp over the sitting area? That way you could enjoy this fabulous fireplace even if there is a slight rain.

@robang014 жыл бұрын
Can You give more detail about the process - What was used for material and how you put the poles in the ground? What kind of poles are they. Thank you so much
@revnannings3 жыл бұрын
Yes of course! I used stainless steel poles, 3,5 meter long, I let them 2,10 meter above the ground. My father made a system (also made of stainless steel) to put the poles in the ground, hard to explain, if you want I can send you a picture by e-mail or something! Let me know :)

I just completed my fire pit and am looking to add the poles for the lights. How can I get information from you on how to put them in the ground
@mollym51473 жыл бұрын
@@anthonypadilla1320 you could put poles in barrels also, set them in concrete half way up the barrel then top off with soil and plant some flowers .

Looks really great!!! How big of an area did you make the seating area? Also how tall are your poles?

This is beautiful. Curious.... what is the diameter of your patio? I've seen a lot of people build circular patios for a firepit and they always seem a little too small and chairs have to be super close to the fire.

Great work ;-) however just a couple of points,,, no hardcore below your blocks and also no drainage gaps which also become aeration holes in your pit,, the blocks will deffo sag over time especially if any major rainfall, also your pit may become a fish pond ;-) still love your work though.

Thank you so much! 😊 The sand was €60, the big stones for the firepit also €60, the lights €100, I was able to pick up the stones for the terrace for free because people wanted to throw them away, so I have 2 different types of stones from 2 different people for free. I had to take them out myself haha 😄 I cleaned the stones and used them upside down so they look like new!

seems expensive to use so many fireplace red bricks
@revnannings3 жыл бұрын
You mean the bricks or the firestones? The stones in the middle cost €64 euros for 51 stones I needed. All the small bricks are used ones for free! People wanted to change their garden so I could pick them up for free, just had to take them out of their garden myself so a lot of work Haha but not expensive
