Synopsis:
In a world of labels it’s easy to forget who made sportsmen, pop singers and matinee idols into stars, superstars and megastars - the FANS. Every FAN has their own personal relationship with their hero - it’s almost a Love Story.
FAN is the story of Gaurav (Shah Rukh Khan) a young man, 20 something, whose world revolves around the mega movie star Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) or God as he refers to him.
From the by lanes of Delhi, young Gaurav embarks on a journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai, in order to wish his God on his birthday. After all, he is Aryan’s biggest FAN and even has a striking resemblance to him - how difficult could it be for the world biggest FAN to get an audience with the world’s biggest Star.
When things don't go according to plan, Gaurav’s love and passion for his God turns in to a dangerous obsession that crosses the fine line.
In an edge of the seat thriller, FAN will peel away at both Gaurav and Aryan’s personalities and characters as the two men discover people within themselves that even they didn't know existed, and we’re left wondering who to sympathize with and whom to root for - can we really pick a side, after all, Superstars are also human beings but each one of us is also a FAN.

I was at red fort that day and i remember he was out of his van all day and performed with same pace and energy, even we got tired watching but he didn't get tired dancing, it was unbelievable. He's undoubtedly the most hard working person in this industry.

Shah Rukh Khan is very hard working. I loved the sequence on the stage where he does all the dance sequence from old movies as Gaurav Chandna (the fan). No wonder he is still the King of Bollywood, cos' he does believe in hard work. This movie gets a 10 from me for its foreign film shots, stunts on the tiled roof and the final jump into the sea. I thought I was watching a Tom Cruise movie. Really captivating shots. It has an English movie aura to it. This movie is an example for other Bollywood movies to emulate and make good stories that has heart and soul in it. Many movies these days are lacking that.

Back then I was a theatre actor in Delhi and one of my friends and a co-actor got a chance to work as a crew member during the shoot of this song. He said SRK's energy was limitless, and after almost every shot, he used to get a standing ovation from the crew and everyone who was there on the set. He was so dedicated and really worked hard for this film.

i was at hansraj college when he came for college fast... i ran from my college to hansraj in 2016 on 16th feb.. i cant forgot those moment.. god so much crowd. i saw him live from very near coz i was in ncc and gave excuse that i have been given duty of bouncer.. coz in college mostly secutity duty is given to ncc boys.. so i was sso close to stage.. goooooshhh.. so amazing that day was.. thats the diff thing that i got late for home.. and papa se dant khai. but chalta h yrr srk konsa roz roz dekhne milta ha.... one of the best days from college diary... thanx to me for taking addmission in north campus....

SRK was, is, and will always be the king. He does very very difficult roles. He is very passionate and hardworking but I do agree that he really needs to start choosing better scripts, and not boring scripts like Chennai Express, Dilwale, Ra One, and HPNY

amazing ... great effort for an actor who doesn't have to prove any acting abilities anymore... SRK is very disciplined and humble. and the movie crew is very talented.
