I am a 61 yo woman and remember playing marbles on the playground when the boys would sometimes let me play. They thought it was an easy win for them. I had 3 older brothers who taught me how to play very well and I won most of the time 🤣. I found this video very fascinating.

As children we used to enjoy placing our marbles on the stairs throughout the apartment complex we lived at, then hiding behind a corner wed laugh and laugh whenever anyone fell down the flight of stairs. We were sort of mischievous back then. Good times! Kids will be kids! Lol

Стекляные шарики делают, потом эти шарики засовывают в газовые балончики с разными жидкостями, например с краской или wd -шкой

Мы в 80 х такими шариками из рогаток пуляли. Они спокойно дырки делали с десяти метров в вагонке . От бутылки из под шампанского одно донышко оставалось от попадания. Стреляли метров с 20.

Дык в советское время шарики из стекла изготавливали для удобной перевозки, вагонами по всему СССР возили, детишками собирали. А конкретно эти шарики возможно и для бутылок.

I've been to a marble factory before, and the sizes of those rollers are insane. However they had a section where they where making marble sculptures by hand. And that's got to be the most bizarrely fascinating thing I've ever seen in my life.

que diez se apuntaron esto es importantisimo todos los niños de antes jugaban con ellas hoy solo para adornos porque acabaron con los niños con estas madres de celulares tablets etc robándoles su inocencia y forma de condesender entre ellos te felicito por la presentacion yo a mis años nunca me habria imaginado como se fabrican y tan bonitas que son y evocan ayeres hermosos un diez a la presentación un proceso muy bien elaborado rustico y eficiente

В детстве лазили на стекольный завод. Там были горы стеклянных шариков. Они использовались там как сырье, вроде для стекло ваты, а может и для бутылок. А мы набирали их себе для игры. Завода давно нет, а вот несколько шариков осталось, как память.

Aqui en Chile le llamabamos polcas, se jugaba a las 3 ollitas par y noni ,tira y saca ,que tiempos aquellos jugabamos todo el dia.

Orpa por fin un chileno ya estaba empezando a creer que se llamaban canicas tanto escuchar a los mexicanos wei. Si, las llamábamos polcas porque había una versión más barata que eran de greda pintadas de color y esas eran las bolitas. Eran para los que no le alcanzaba para comprar las de cristal. Lo mismo ocurría cuando no tenias plata para comprar un volantin y te hacías una cambucha con hojas viejas de cuaderno o diario. No volaban tan alto como un volantin pero igual entretenían mucho. De ahí salió el refrán cuando sale un wn cacheton o agrandado :" No tan alto cambucha se te va a cortar el hilo y te vas a ir a la chucha". Un abrazo compatriota
