Bruno Pelletier, he is the best Gringoire. He plays a poet and commentator leading the musical thoroughly. Other actors have their own character with their unique voice but the actor plays Gringoire should have various colorful voice because he shows what happens on the stage to the audience. Bruno Pelletier is the right man for the position.

@Lane Brycen I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Впервые вижу оригинальную постановку в другом исполнении (не в том, котором мы привыкли видеть на диске). Спасибо за редкие кадры!

I adore this musical, and I consider it one of the best that I’ve ever heard even compare to Broadway. I would love it if they would bring this to the US again. It doesn’t have to be an English cast, because I love the French cast of this musical. But honestly, I would just love to see this musical and really any language.

They're bringing it to NYC in July 2022. It will be performed in French with English supertitles.

29:45 LOL that legitimately made me laugh out loud. Nice dry sense of humor/delivery, Daniel! Also I wish there was more footage of whatever show this was, probably an earlier one....there are different nuances/choices in the acting....like Quasimodo here with the pape de fous 20:10, I want to see more!

"created by legendary [...] Luc Plamondon"?! the music is written by Riccardo Cocciante (his voice resounds in every melody), Plamondon wrote the words and, together, adapted the Hugo's novel

Fom 0:50 to 1:30 How do you know? It may be a great blessing to France if people can get books and learn to read. To me, it's a new form of expression of thought. Out there is the old form. All over France, in every city, there stand cathedrals like this one, triumphal monuments of the past. They tower over the homes of our people like mighty guardians, keeping alive the invincible faith of the Christians. Every arch, every column, every statue is a carved leaf out of our history.
