Parallel Clamps are pretty awesome so I converted my homemade steel bar clamps into parallel clamps using plywood and basic woodworking machinery.

I'm putting this in my playlist to save. I do a lot of car audio enclosures so parallel clamps are great for an easy assembly, and making my own (this design) would be much cheaper than buying them. Thanks for the video.

I have often looked at the k clamps; looked at the f clamps and wondered how a piece of material that covers the round end doubles/triples the price. Your video is a great idea, I'm wondering how soon some manufacturer will come out with the pieces?

Hi cosmas, I have questions for you. Have you put this clamps face to commercial parralel clamps for comparaison ? And how are they doing? Do you think that this combination can replace the purchase of commercial parralel clamp? I mean dose it deserve the time to make a bunch of them? Thanks.

I always get so annoyed when my bar clamps leave nasty stains and dings on my wooden parts. We all know the problem. And we all know one who's able to build a solution. Thanks again! Until now I only managed to put tape on my clamps but after some time these pads wear out and leave their marks as well. So when time comes, I'm so making these!

3d printing pads would probably be an easier build though time consuming, but those might not be the perfect solution under all the clamping pressure.

Gute handwerkliche Arbeit keine Frage, aber wenn ich mir die übrige Ausstattung der Werkstatt ansehe, dann hätte er sich die Zwingen auch fertig kaufen können !

As soon as I saw the sliding table saw I realized how ridiculous this is. Anyone who can afford a saw like that can certainly afford high end parallel clamps.
