Idea! Place a plastic bag around your magnet, but inside out. Once you've captured all the metal dust, you've got a ready bag that has already started to collect the dust that you've already gathered and less of a mess to clean off of your magnet. Nice work!

i wonder if it would be possible to make some sort of pattern welded paring knife or small straight razor with powdered steel and all the dust you took out of your water bucket with that magnet. it would be quite the undertaking but maybe something worth looking into; it's something different and fresh. fantastic job as always and i'm looking forward to part 2!

Richard Chavez who played Poncho in Predator was in the TV series War of the Worlds. He carried a badass knife that was sort of a cross between an Arkansas toothpick and a traditional dagger. I believe it was made by Jack Crain and I think it was called the Pentagon Dagger. I can only find one image of that knife on line. That knife has stuck with me since the late 80s and I think it would make a great project for you. You do amazing work. This is the only pic I can find of it. www.pinterest.com/pin/699887598327846030/
