if anyone is wondering how I got the 2006/2007 roblox video, I just downloaded the 2007 roblox client.

That’s the 2007 roblox studio actually, but close enough, since the 2006 client hasn’t been found yet.

The Toolbox existed in 2006 too and dates back to around 2004

Yeah, but if you use the 2006/7 Roblox Studio client now, the toolbox won't work since Roblox didn't think anyone would use that client and lost support for it.

I mean it wasn't that much better, because there were more limited options, and much more. You did have to spawn your character and play with 3 commands, and when you want to spawn a part or a spawnlocation you'd have to press insert, then type in the name of the object you want to insert. I mean it was better in some ways, but the new studio has more features and makes it easier for new developers and older ones.

Ngl I think it's the other way around bc games back then were so simple compared to the games now that require teams of devs who have had years of experience I also think it was alot easier to get your game popular back then because there wasn't that much competition as there is now

You have a 2007 client because the 2006 client is lost and counts as Lost Media

The toolbox was in 2006, it just doesn't work now because the Toolbox uses Internet Explorer

the toolbox feature only uses Roblox official models but if you wanted a far great models then you would have to build it by yourself
