Insightful as always! The round first and last hole is an interesting idea that I’ve never seen before.

Probably will make a video in future explaining visually purpose of it. Its very minor detail, but it makes absolutely straight stitch with diamond holes, without it stitch between last 2 holes becomes slightly crooked :)

Great review 😁👌🏻 For me personally the glossy glaze on the surface is too much, but still very worth the price regarding quality.. 👌🏻 don’t forget to let us see the patina later on 😌

Horween has more wax than Rocado, i think... Horween is top grain while Rocado is full grain?

In my understanding Shell hasnt such gradation full grain, top grain etc... Shell is made out of unique tissue which can be found in equine animals. But i might be mistaken :)

Vipindas... I think you need to study up on what shell cordovan is... and where it comes from versus full or top grain Etc which come from a totally different animal... Good luck

@@V3leathercraft shell cordovan is made out of the horse’s butt,it’s actually a layer underneath the skin,much more similar to cartilage than skin. So there’s no top grain here,the skin has to be actually shaved off to get to the shell,it’s just a matter of how different tanneries process those shells.

Its hard to consider better... As leather crafter i would say: for some criteria one is better, for some another.
