I've always been hopeless with numbers but I am very good at eyeballing something. My hubby has tried many times to explain measurements especially pertaining to the fractions and I've never gotten it. The way you explained it has made a light bulb go off in my head and I think finally I understand how it works. Thanks so much.

Love your beginner series of cardmaking. When I started years ago I bought embossing powder, but had no heat gun. I melted the powder on my cards over an electric burner on the stove. Lol, I burned a few. But most were good. Now I was asked to teach a class at church. I love how you teach, so you are my inspiration! Thank you so much!!!

It might be helpful if you made a written tutorial telling people what to cut for making 1/4 cuts on only the top side and one side and going down to a smaller number. That way you look at it and know exactly what to cut for for smaller borders.

May may - Your video on layers was helpful ,however when you cut down for layers do you cut a1/4 from one or more sides ?

What a great breakdown Maymay. My problem with layers comes not in cutting them properly, but in centering each layer on the layer below. No matter what I do I usually end up with one side slightly smaller than the other 3 sides ( can you tell that I am a perfectionist 🤣). Do you have any tips to consistently center the layers properly? I try to line up 3 corners, but it doesn’t always work

I have found that if I center the top two corners that the bottom will line up and the wet glue allows for a little wiggle room. Hopefully this helps

HI, here is the measurements that we used in the video in metric ( I think, not my strongest math) these are in centimeters: black base: 10.795 x 13.97 white: 10.16 x 13.335 red: 9.25 x 12.7 yellow: 8.89 x 12.065 blue: 8.255 x 11.43 brown: 7.62 x 10.795 If these are not correct let me know and I will try a math converter, thanks
