Mr AM. I very much enjoy your investigative and logical mind on your series. I think this idea of a recessive gene seems quite plausible. Your compassion for both the mothers and their babies will always outshine the VO’s. I noticed many jumped to that immediate conclusion of baby monkey kidnapping. But you convince me otherwise. I know someone suggested a viral disease, but those types of diseases are far more communicable and think we would see more. And I think of gestation- did the pregnant moms all consume or bump into same toxin? Being a reservoir, here in US, no pesticides should be near that water. Keep the theories coming. A truly fine series that you released this week. Thank you.

Bubby was such a great mother , motherhood suited her well she seemed like a well seasoned mother. And in the last video of her she seemed to be looking for her sweet girl. I pray next birthing season will be more successful for them all

Thanks for explaining the laws in Hong Kong regarding poaching. I believe it is because we see it so much on other channels that is kind of what I thought might have happened. But i am thankful Hong Kong is so strict on poaching or selling or even having one as a pet. I do wish other countries would adopt and push those laws as well .Thanks AM❤

Makes sense why Bossys son had that different look about him. Whatever the case may be, my heart goes out to the royal family and friends. I know I love each baby in our gang and I hate that any of them pass away. I’m so glad you made it clear (again) that nobody steals monkey babies in Hong Kong. I wonder if it will or has crossed Bossys mind that it could be bc of Lowry, and if so when will she give him the boot? They know not to mate with their kids and siblings so it would not surprise me if Bossy figured that on her own. I love my Monkey Hill family and I pray for God to watch over them every day. One parting comment… after seeing that last close up of Bossy’s baby… not to make disparaging remarks but he just didn’t appear as the other babies. His facial features were off. Someone commented on Down’s syndrome and l don’t even know if that is a condition possible in monkeys or would cause an early death. To my eye, his facial features were not as the other babies but perhaps that means nothing. At any rate, again, RIP little ones….

You can always tell which nipple is the baby's favorite by how blistered it looks, poor moms go through a lot. A great write up by AM this week, ultimately it's very likely Bossy Baby and Bubbly were lost to a car accident or fall. Bossy's age might also call into question her reflexes and ability to move quickly if she lost hers to a fall. Hopefully next year fares better for the family.

This is what I was saying - babies are highly unlikely to be stolen from any troops in Hong Kong whatsoever, or sent out of the country even.

This series has been so hard for me to watch 😣, to see their lil faces that were so innocent looking and supposed to have a long life ahead, but to wither too fast and too soon. I hope the situation will improve next year 😢.

Of course the loss of a baby will effect them. It's the care of a defencless offspring that is 100% depended on their care. Without them they went from busy and having purpose to quickly nothing. Without the baby there isn't much else for them to do, if someone doesnt want to say they are depressed they could likely agree to at least they are bored. No baby to wrestle with and struggle to keep close or chase down when they decide to climb unexpectingly and not to her agreement. Their little bundle to groom and snuggle, to cuddle up with after a long day for a nights sleep. Their family group will be very quiet come weaning season. It gives them all the year to regain health and hopefully they will all be lucky again early in the birthing season. The ladies have each other still, bossy's house is still gaining in reproductive aged females.

Thanks for your insights AM. It's unfortunate that Kiddy got lost in all of this though. By my math (not my strong suit), this troop lost 18% of the babies. I think that is normal in the wild. What is abnormal is they were all lost in a cluster and that is why this seems so tragic and the fact that all, but one were within one family. I don't believe there was anything nefarious either. IMO, as I commented on the previous video, I believe Bossy's boy had a genetic condition. I think Bubbly fell. Bubby was an inexperienced mom and I think they were in a tree, Bubbly got loose, lost her grip. While she was ill, I don't think that was the cause. Kiddy, it's hard to say, but it could be the same. I don't think it would have been a fight for either Kiddy or Bubbly, because neither mom seemed to be wounded. I would expect that if a fight was bad enough to kill their babies, mom would have visible wounds. As for Berny, we know he was sick. I think he was born ill. As mentioned, he was lethargic from the start. He could have picked up something in utero or during birth. If he were a human baby, I think the term is "failure to thrive". This of course is all conjecture and we can onl6 keep guessing. I am hoping this is it for this troop this year and all the rest of Bossy's troop thrive and survive.

I had, in prior comment, begun to conclude there was some problem with theirbgeneology and speculated the same father possessed a gene that was not playing well with these mothers. It makes sense the alpha could father all three of those, but what a mess for future generations as there is definitely some wandering around with Larry’s DNA already. This seems it may rest on Mother Natures ledger for the need to prevent total collusion of the bloodline in the troop. In my mind, this is the only likely cause of these three specific babies death. It's so unlikely they all die from different reasons in such a short period of time.

Moms look so sad. Understandable. I am glad it is not a result of kidnapping by humans. But still, sad.

A real tragedy that all three babies' lives were somehow cut short. It's hard to comprehend . However it happened, may the next birthing season make up for the loss of these three little charmers. 😢😭😿💔💔

Has to be the amount of milk produced because of age or falling out of a tree while mom sleeps. The last baby was a worm who moved all over the place.

Bam...i thought genetics seemed to make the most sense. I had mentioned possable recessive disorder in one posts on the previous videos. The babies all had the same colored fur as well. Alpha family group would certainly want their baby to be fathered by the choice male. I had always figured that is part of the reason an male will usually only be alpha for the maximum of 5 years, after that point the potiential of mating with one of his daughters starts to go up quickly. Alpha female wouldn't want her daughters to have to select from the Mr FixerUpper choices.

No, no one is stealing a baby from monkey hill. Maybe a yearling. By luring it into a vehicle with food and driving off. Bit definitely not a baby.

AM may be on to something if Lowry is the father of these babies,it could well be genetics. I think AM is right about them not being stolen by humans, he knows them well and does not attempt to touch any of the adults, let alone the well guarded babies. AM, why is Carpark Troop moving to Golden Hill Road? I thought they got the most human food of all the troops. Is Carpark Troop getting too big for the carpark?

i wonder if its possible for Arroz to make another Familial tree chart again? only this time make a note of who might have fathered the babies with their respective mothers within our troop? I remember he had done this when Cocky was still Alpha and his favorite lady was Stacy & could have fathered most of her offsprings. Now quite possibly most of Lancy's clan at the very least the much older boys. Grandee with his lady loves Ridgy & Dolly. Taggy sired half of Reddy's babies.

I've definitely been thinking it's an issue with the mating male as well. At first i thought maybe VD but they survived too long for that i think.🤔 too closely related is definitely possible though. So sad cuz they are just the cutest lil ones and the mamas are heart broken.

The genetic issue makes the most sense. As much as dare devils they are whats the odds all of them hijacked a feeder car and lost 3 babies. I really thought illness in the mother at first they are close knit but is there an infection thst would only affect a few nursing mothers and not the others?

hmmm not too sure in this generation now. GREED is a powerful motivation. people do a lot of stupid things for far less. but i do pray that bossy (her whole clan) and the whole troop for that matter fair better in the end. we (all of us) whether directly or indirectly have been intrusive enough (loss of ground/habitat/vegetation). their home is under siege all in the name of urban development. 😒😤😡🤬smh
