Thank you so much! That is definitely encouraging:). I will be making more videos in the new year. I enjoy making them, but it is very time intensive to edit them!

You’ve changed my world Cindy! Amazing. I was going to buy in the states but I’ll be making my own. The reason I was told by a retailer is that there is a shortage is that the ice storm in Texas a couple of years ago destroyed the source of shellac- the bug? And then there was an explosion at the factory which has decimated the supply.

Ahh thanks Donna - it’s been so frustrating! I even messaged Alicia Tormey to find out if she had supply issues but she said not really. I don’t use a lot of shellac but this is so much nicer I will probably use it more!

Hi from Nova Scotia , where can you purchase the hotplate you use. Not the breakfast type hotplate but the type or encaustic painting ? Thanks love your work

Hi Tishe. Those palettes were made by R&F paints but they ceased manufacturing them this year. You may be able to find one online or at a local art store. I checked the two art stores in Edmonton that carried them but they don’t show as in stock. They’re a good palette but they had sone supply problems with the heating element after covid do they stopped making them which is too bad.

Hi Cindy I love your tutorials but I had to turn 2 of them. Off today as the sound was so soft. Not sure if it's your Mike or my phone but other tutorials the sound seemed fine. Thanks

Hi Barbara. Thanks for letting me know. I alway try to maximize the volume when I edit because I am quite soft spoken. My older videos probably have more issues with volume. Do you remember which videos you turned off? Thank you. Sorry they were too quiet. It’s been a learning curve for sure!! Cindy
