Hope you enjoy the video Doug, there are lots of good resources on KZfaq for this , however lots of people have been asking to see this part specifically… after the solution is made there’s not much else to do but wait…worst what watching paint dry and much more dangerous

One of my professors in high school found several film developers to give him the left over silver nitrate they used to develop film with. He put a piece of copper in it and the silver attracted to the copper. I can't remember if he used any other solution but it was cool and it was free.

You are amazing brother. You get into many very interesting areas of the metals.👍 Sounded like you had a resperator on, good job being safe.👍 I believe those red fumes used to be called red death.🤔😲😢 Coffee filters from thedollar store work well also.👌looks like first attempt was a success.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

Looking fantastic Mike . If I may ask : how long should the anode bag be ? I ask because I've never seen Sreetips use one as long as yous . I don't know if that has any effect at all , just curious . Great content Mike , see you soon . Cheers
@VendettaProspecting2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually a really small basket like 4 fluid oz, there’s a fine balance, you want as little contact area for the basket touching the solution to ensure the crystal doesn’t touch the basket or it will short the connection. The bigger the bowl the farther it has to travel toward the anode basket. The bigger the baskerlt the more silver you can expose to the solution… but again not to big or the crystal will touch
@brycedavis9177 Жыл бұрын
Do you get out what you put in? Like if I bought all the necessary things would it be profitable
@VendettaProspecting Жыл бұрын
well bryce, that's a long multi layered answer lol Short answer, you don't loose anything.. as long as you know how to get it out.....

Hey Mike, did you put a magnet on your bowl?
@VendettaProspecting2 жыл бұрын
How? It’s a stainless steel bowl 🥣
@richardbeee2 жыл бұрын
@@VendettaProspecting It seeks the magnetic draw and makes long,huge crystals. 🙂
@VendettaProspecting2 жыл бұрын
@@richardbeee never hear of that one . It would be best on the bottom because it’s all growing toward the basket and don’t want the crystals to touch it
@richardbeee2 жыл бұрын
@@VendettaProspecting Yea. That's where you put the magnet on the outside of the bottom. As a matter of fact you can take a spring and wrap it around the base of your bowl. It's cool to watch the crystals grow around in a circle. Getting longer and longer. Then you have to watch so one side don't touch the other side.🙂

Is there a source to buy electrolyte?
@VendettaProspecting8 ай бұрын
i make it by dissolving silver in nitric acid.
