My condolences for the loss of your dad. Happy Heavenly Father's Day to your dad and all the Dad's up there and to our Heavenly Father. Thank you for sharing your signs from Heaven about your dad and the squirrels. I love them they are the cutest and I saw a small one yesterday. So adorable I tell ya lol. One year, as an art teacher, I had 4th graders make ATCs. 4th grade study Indiana history ( my home state) so the cards were based on Indiana. I had lots of supplies plus lots of Indiana travel books and pamphlets they could also use. They made at least 3 cards...one to trade with me, one for them to trade with a classmate and one to keep. The kids had a great time making them. Principal and teachers were impressed! A retreat sounds great! Hope you all are feeling better soon 🙂

I just found your channel. I'm so glad that I did. Your great to listen to and watch. I am new to ATC's and tags, having done embroidery and sewing for years. I am having a hard time finding images that will fit on an ATC. I love your butterfly pages, do you perhaps know where you got that paper at?

I agree that one should make cards that one enjoys making. But I don't agree that it is acceptable to trade unequally. Know your recipient. Think of it this way: are you swapping "business cards" or are you trading art? Your ACTs are fun. Thank you for walking us through your process.

I love your ATC's and chatting. I make mine with masterboards. So much variety. I went In a few retreats and it's so much fun. Meeting nice people from all over. Too bad I live so far. Will have to add a plane ticket. A bit expensive. I encourage people to do it. It's a great experience if you can afford it.

Thank you so much Daniele! I usually make mine with masterboards too, it's so fun to see what they look like when you cut them to size, it's my favorite part! I completely understand the cost factor and realize many wont be able to make it because of that. I'm hoping to go live while we are there so others who wanted to join can be a part of the retreat as well.

I would love to go on a retreat with you, Nicole. Because if you can do it, so can I! I am so much like the way you described yourself. Most people who think they know me, think I am SO outgoing and bubbly, but really, I am dying inside. So I would really like to give something like this a try. It really does sound like so much fun! I will start saving my money now, because I am in Canada, and our money is 💩 right now! So I need to save double. However I AM 72, and well you know, I don’t want to wait too long! Lol So count me in!

I always love to see other peoples work! You do not have to have any expert qualities at all to do art, that's why it's so fun!

I'm not a glue crew member, but a retreat sounds great if you plan for it to be open to all. Actually, your variety of interests is one thing that keeps me returning to your channel. Nicole Thanks so much for the tutorial! They are so inspiring. When you mentioned squirrels and your dad, for me my mom loved butterflies, so when ever I see butterflies it reminds me of her. In the summer I have had butterflies come and land on me. Blessings!

I like your kind of retreat...I'm very much like you...introvert with new people and a real extrovert with my friends. Also my retreat wouldn't involve cooking...a retreat requires relaxing as well. That flu you have is going around but doesn't last long. Take care of yourself and family 👍❣

OMG too many questions I wanna answer! There's a name for us extroverted introverts but I can't think of it. There's a whole mess of info about us and it hits it right on the nail. I love ATC's! I used to make them years ago and then life & kids happened. I then got into making Project Life cards instead. I've recently come back to ATC's and am working on getting some ready to trade. It's so fun to send them off and get something in the mail in exchange. I love the ones you created in this video, a very classic look. I would be interested in the retreat depending on cost and on timing. I am taking my first vacation with the family in about 10 years this summer, and I am taking my Scouts BSA Troop to D.C. I am very introverted, on the spectrum, so this would be a big thing for me if I can get past my anxiety. I would love to hang out with like minded people and craft though. Maybe exchange some ATC's in person. I also have dietary restrictions (allergies), so it would be good to have someone who can handle those easily, instead of me trying to figure out what is safe to eat. Besides, it would not be cool to pull you from crafting and hanging out, to make you go cook... nope, not good.

I live in Australia, but I have even told AJ’S Inspired Life (Allison) that I would fly over for a craft retreat! Next year would be good for me too 😀 I am also an introvert who can be very extroverted when I am comfortable. I love your ATCs, they’re beautiful. I am part of a swap group and I am one of the hosts (We only swap within Australia). It is so much fun. We have three hosts with three themes each month. I am hosting a Halloween theme this month. 🖤👻🎃 (I joined in on the mushrooms theme and ‘wild and free’ theme too) Hope you’re feeling better. And I love that your dad is sending the squirrels! If you want the stamps off of the paper fill a container with warm water and a drop of liquid detergent. Dump in the stamps and let them soak, even overnight.. The stamps will slide right off the paper. I used to collect stamps and would get bags of stamps cut from envelopes and this is how I got the stamps off the paper.

I add these to card bases. Also use the coins and inches and twinchies. I just make them and keep them until I make cards for people.

I have been doing ATC for over 15 years. Back then, the rules for making them was no stickers, each card must have 3 things on them. You must put your name on the back and I like to list what I used on the card too

Thank you so much! The tool I used is from the Dollar Tree in the craft section. It's meant for smoothing vinyl. It works so good for glue books, I use it every single day!

My niece who was three or four and learned to use paper sissors and I had to spend a day cutting paper. Every five minutes “let’s cut paper” 😂😂😂very satisfied her 😂

why was it so hard finding people who make acts. im on swap bot so was looking for people for insparation. as i want to join some swaps. Also im thinking about getting projector so i can make outlines of characters like sailor moon and paint rest in. \do you think thats a good idea, Thanks :)
