As the digitization of health systems progresses, high-quality data are increasingly available for answering key questions in health services research. However, mirroring the complexity of health systems, data sources are often fragmented.
Thus, data linkage - when several datasets can be linked together to answer relevant questions - is gaining importance. A range of approaches to data collection, storage, linkage and availability exists across and within countries.
But what are the current approaches to data linkage to inform health policy? What can we learn from different countries to expand our options while ensuring data safety and privacy? Join us to find out!
