I go back and forth between dub or sub. I like the way Japanese sounds just as a language. I prefer the dub on this, especially for Loid and Anya’s voice actors. 💛

Do they really? Sounds pretentious and unreasonable. Truly, if you love language and just the art you gotta admit, if you’re being honest and discerning, that sometimes the sub is better, sometimes the dub.

I honestly always prefer english but only cause i feel it more, i like the subs and like how japanese va sounds but cause i don’t understand there languages it doesn’t resonate with me how english does

This is not your typical spy show. If you read the manga, you'd know the Japanese VAs are PERFECT for their roles. And that's they have 'Spy Wars' show within their world for the typical spy action tropes in old movies.

Agreed about the US Loid. It's not deep enough for me and it sounds so... idk, Eguchi (Japanese VA) managed to capture both the Twilight and Loid Forger personas in his voice acting. US Loid still sounds like a regular guy in spy persona and the voice acting can be very dry. Haven't heard enough of US Yor to comment on her voice acting. I'm fine with US Anya though, it's okay, it's good.

Adaptive script writing is an art, and a very challenging one at that. Plus, they are limited by what the Japanese publishers allow them to do with their source material.

It's not easy to get child voice actors to do these certain roles well. That's why most of Anya voice acting is voiced by female voice actors. And literally Megan did a great job voice in a 4 or 8-year-old
