I did the same thing but used bolts instead of buying the Linq pieces. Keeps the bottom of the box more flat.

That box here in Canada is over $400. You would think at that price point a trunk designed by Canam specifically for their vehicles would be better. One shouldn’t have to spend more money and time to make it work? Thanks for video.

It works perfectly fine the way it is, no need to do this mod, it doesn't move any more than a u bolted box on a metal rack. This guy is just anal about it.

Hello, i'm having the same issue with the box wobbling and i got one of those LINQ quick connects and im wondering if instead of adding two of the quick connects i could just put one of them in the middle front of the box because im using it for storage and i'd like it more secure but with only one linq connect.

Thanks for the vid because for my coming outlander I want a smaller box and this is a good trick. However, what's the predrilled mounting points for?

Glad it helps! 😬The predrilled points are for the bracket they send with it, but to me it was too flimsy with those so I didn't use them. And they also don't fit properly once you beef the box up with those two additional clamps I added.

Mine was almost $400 and for that kind of money Can Am should have added 1 or 2 more linq latches. VERY POOR ENGINEERING! My Polaris 850 has a much better system.
