This is the Ultimate Working LEGO Slot Machine, my newest creation! The machine only uses 4 motors, 3 sensors, and 1 EV3 brick to power the 5 reel Lego slot machine. In this video, I’ll show you how to build a LEGO slot machine by going over the main portions of a slot machine including the coin mechanism, randomization mechanism, hold/nudge mechanisms, and the win/loss detection sensing system. This machine is jam-packed with gears and other moving parts, so enjoy one of my most complex creations!

This guy knows more about mechanical engineering and slot machines than me and he's not even old enough to set foot on a casino floor 🙃

Someone should do a GBC event but instead, it's arcade machines like these. This machine would be perfect for a real life arcade machine! I loved each second of the video as it explained each one of your genius mechanisms. The clutch system is probably my favorite part 🔥

That’s stupidly impressive! Aside from the function itself, I love how organized and clean the internals are!! I can’t imagine how painful that programming was lmao. You’re pumping out awesome machines like crazy, and I can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Thank you so so much! The programming took such a long time but luckily I was able to come up with a clever “scoring system” to detect if the wheels match which saved some major headaches 😂

If this era of the LMC is making machines like this, who knows what the next era would make.

It’s always so exciting to see the community grow, I’m really really hoping to see some of the younger builders continue to build their channels long term

Videos are incredible, but here are some tips from one creator to another. I would suggest buying some more lights and/or a (bright) light for the camera to both brighten the set and get rid of harsh shadows. The other thing if you know anything about cameras is the White Balance/color temperature. Some of the shots are very warm (yellow/orange) and look like they were recorded in a living room because of that. Making the temperature colder/cooler (whiter) will make it look much more professional and in turn more watchable to the average viewer. Keeping the White Balance consistent from shot to shot is also important. If you are working with a camera that should be an easy thing to change, but you can also manually adjust WB on a phone too and in editing software too. Awesome machine, and a lot of potential for the future :)

Thank you! I appreciate the advice! I don’t know why those two clips seemed over saturated but I use one lighting stand but I’ll definitely get the other one out for the next video!

You keep impressing me! Fantastic mechanism and great design. The coin-dispenser jiggling to adjust the stacked coins and the fact that you can insert multiple quarters at once is so smart.
@LegoCloud
@LegoCloud 24 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! That mechanism kept those coins from jamming so many times, saving me countless headaches. The program became a nightmare with all the server/variables of credits, coins owed, etc etc though 😂
