I’ve never had it but I do know brewing chamomile tea and adding a half Tbsp apple cider vinegar , dash of cinnamon and sweetener of your choice tastes like apple cider to me. Maybe add salad dressing things to it like olive oil and herbs may work but I have no idea what it tastes like lol.

THANK YOU for helping those of us who couldn’t eat these things if we wanted to because we live in a country without certain restaurants! Here in UAE there are Chipotle knock-offs but they’re not the same at all. There’s no Panda Express either, or most depressingly, Taco Bell. 😭 But now that I’m keto and y’all are doing this work it doesn’t matter; I can make most of these things myself and stay on track. 🎉🎉🎉

An old friend of mine who's since passed away turned me onto spicing up Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce years ago before I was doing low carb: Empty one bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's into a blender; add 3 Tablespoons of Honey and 3 Chipotle pepper in Adobo sauce; kind of like what you did in this recipe...blend and it will all fit back into the bottle without spillage. It really gives it a kick. You guys are awesome and hilarious!

Alton Brown has a Phenomenal recipe for a Pork tenderloin (not a loin) marinated in his own chipotle-honey-lime marinade recipe (it’s in KZfaq). Then after the pork marinades overnight, you grill the pork tenderloin to 145°, and drizzle it w/ some of the marinade that was reserved (before adding it to the meat). He garnishes it w/ chopped cilantro, and it’s SOOOO YUMMY! This reminds me of the vinaigrette that you use in this recipe, so I’m sure you’d love it too! The grilled pork would be awesome, made into a fajita style Quesadilla as well. I’m a French Canadian and we love sweet mustard! I use Nature's Hollow Sugar-Free Honey Substitute and mix it with smooth Dijon mustard 1:1 and it’s sooooooo good. It’s amazing how good it feels when you find something that does a good job replacing an old favourite. Keeps you going long term. Keep up the great videos. I love watching you.

For over a year now when I go to a Hardee's and get their grilled chicken club sandwich I asked for it with no bun so they usually use extra lettuce to wrap it with and I asked for extra mayonnaise and lots of red onions. They had been happy to accommodate that. When they give me that extra lettuce I just chop everything all up and make a nice chicken salad because I asked them to put it in a bowl. Anytime you used to spend a lot of time at a restaurant and spend a lot of money, they seem willing to accommodate you especially when they see you've lost a lot of weight and they want your business. Besides any restaurant that knows that you can go to the restaurant and still lose weight and be satisfied is a happy restaurant.

One of the many reasons I've always liked Moe's Southwest Grill more than Chipolte. You've always been able to add any of their toppings on any menu item. Their whole business model is about building your own burrito, taco, salad, or quesadilla any way you want it. They have the toppings all laid out, and you pick what you want. That vinaigrette from Chipolte does sounds good though. I happen to have a can of peppers, too. Definitely giving that a try.

I made this today. Added mushrooms to the pepper and onion mixture put it on top of a bed of cauliflower with the sauce and it was delicious. You girls did a great job. I'm officially obsessed with this sauce. I've tried it on chicken and shrimp but it really pairs best with beef and I'm not usually a huge beef eater. Now that I can make this sauce, beef is back on the menu and specifically this simple recipe. Another way I eat this recipe is losing the tortillas entirely and stuffing a large Romaine leaf (or 4) with the fajita ingredients and sauce, roll it tightly to contain the awesome mess, and you have a super-low carb wonderful meal. When they say this sauce is OUTSTANDING, believe it. Thanks so much - love your videos and testing comparisons. So helpful.

Thanks for the video. I discovered the La Banderita Carb Counter Street Tacos about a year ago, and they're very solid. I use them for almost anything I need a bun or bread for, and I use them for almost anything a tortilla can be used for. The only problem I have is sometimes they're out of stock, so I try to keep a few in the fridge, and I'll buy one each week to use.

Chipotles in adobo sauce are awesome! Add a few to chili to up your chili game, or add 1-2 to half a jar of mayo and blend to make it even more irresistible! I'm going to have to try this vinaigrette recipe, thanks for sharing!

Usually when I really really want a tortilla or something I just go ahead and have one. ONE. The keto ones cost so much and well. I live in a van because rent in my town sucks and I’m poor. 😂😂😂 I usually regret it after as grains really don’t agree with my GI tract. So it’s usually a long time between cheats like that. I’m finally getting back on track after a year struggling. Your channel helps a lot!!!

I absolutely love the Mission tortillas. If you spray olive oil on them & sprinkle salt, nuke it whole for 1:30 minutes they make excellent soup crackers or cut them up to make chips.

I think that salad type dressing could be used as a marinade for chicken or fish any meat! I get that dressing when I get chipotle it’s great on rice, roasted veggies. Lemon juice added is good.❤😊

Where I live we have bread called lavas, it is thin, sturdy, almost paper like with high gluten, I use it sometimes with a lot of protein in it, my ketone levels do not even budge. But I understand that once you start doing that, it is easy to fall off the rails.

I've been making Chipotles' honey Vinaigrette dressing for about 3 years, from a copy cat recipe I found online. I don't use a honey substitute. I just use sweetener. I use it only on the salads that I get from chipotle. Never thought of using it on anything else. I'll have to try it on the things you made in this video.

Walmart now carries a "sugar free" honey. I have two containers right now. Preeetty darn honey-like in taste and texture. I forget the brand that puts it out and I am too lazy to go look just now. 🌶️ The adobo sauce in canned chipotles is delicious, and adds amazing flavor in many recipes. It is good mixed in sour cream or Mayo, for example. I often wish I could purchase just the adobo sauce because it is so yummy.

I work in a Mexican restaurant and actually took the la banderita tortillas to work and tried various applications including frying in the fryer. It was difficult to tell them from the regular flour tortillas. So much so that after i fried to make a big daddy, i had to move the tortilla to a separate area so it wouldn't get mixed up with the regular tortillas. Steve actually has THREE videos where he tested tons of tortillas. I think the conclusion for the mission low carb tortillas isn't not to eat then. But since they have the same blood sugar impact as the regular non low carb mission tortillas, the bottom line is it's just a waste of money for the much more expensive "low carb" version. Might as well buy the regular ones for half the price. But the la banderita ones come in lots of sizes, are available at Walmart and in really big packs (16 count in a couple different sizes) for a great price from Sam's Club.
