Making the World's Only Luxury Meerkat House

It's a luxurious meerkat house.
It took about a month to make it, and it doesn't look that big in the video.
Size is 1.3 m x 1 m x 1.2 m. I think I can live.
I'm proud that it took me a long time, and I'm proud that it turned out well.
I'm glad you like it.^^

Did you enjoy the video? Thank you. Once the meerkat in the video is not my child. I was commissioned by the owner who was raising meerkats at home. In Korea, meerkats are often kept as pets at home. The environment is poor. And when Meerkat's owner went to work, he said he needed a house to protect children from the safety of their homes. When the owner returns, the meerkats open the door and jump freely into the house.

You really did a good job building it :) And I'm glad to know that the meerkat are not kept in the doll house all day long, but I still believe their real place is in the wild.

Yep , I’d say that’s it. I love the construction, no doubt it’s well made. It’s just too hard to ignore keeping a non domestic animal in conditions so vastly removed from what is healthy and natural for them. It’s a really nice mausoleum.

사실 컴퓨터 모델링만 봤을때는 잘 감이 안왔는데 실물 보는순간 진짜 생각했던거보다 100배는 더 예뻐서 놀랐어요 😳😳 완성되고보니 제가 잘 모르는 부분도 꼼꼼하고 센스있게 챙겨주셨더라고요~! 저는 진짜 너무 만족스러운데 미어캣들도 만족하고 잘 사용해줬으면 하네요 ☺️☺️☺️ 그동안 정말 고생많으셨습니다~!! 😁 집 이쁘게 잘 사용하는 영상 자주올릴게요 많이들 보러와주세요 🥰🥰

You should of added tunnels. Meerkats naturally dig tunnels underground where they store food, keep their young and where they rest. As you could see in the video the meerkats were trying to dig, making a house that has multiple floors with windows may not help them feel safe or encourage their burrowing behaviour.

Right, it's so cool to see something like this being built but it's not practical for the animal. To make this really cool for them, you would have to imitate their natural habitat. And that includes tunnels, rocks, sand, places to dig and hide, etc. All this is just visually appealing to human eyes but not that appealing to the animal.

@@jktm7785 it’s literally just a play room, for TEMPORARY playing. they have their dirt and etc to dig in when either outside with their owners or some owners make them their own dirt room of sorts. do some research on owning the pet before assuming they keep them like some caged bird.

Frida McHugh I think this is the best it gets for these two. If you watch the previous video you can see their old enclosure, which was even worse than this one. This one is better than their last enclosure, but still not suitable for a meerkat.

Xx IxX What makes you think this is just their playhouse? I’m fairly sure this is where they will always be living. Plus, why would you bother putting feeding bowls in a structure that was just going to be a place for them to play?

Frida McHugh As can be seen in the video previous to this one, the meerkats are not owned by this guy. The meerkats owner just had this guy build the house for them. So, it’s doubtful that these comments will make it back to the meerkats owner. But who knows, maybe the person who owns them will watch this video and read the comments.

Princess Annabelle Rose at this point it would not be ok anymore to let the meerkats go. They have depended on human care for their whole lives and couldn’t survive in the wild. It would have been best to never buy the meerkats in the first place, because buying them means giving money to the people who capture the meerkats from the wild.
