Love these silk tassels! The silk cord makes a beautiful tassel. Adding the fine wire to tie it together at the top and adding a bead makes it into a very special tassel. Thanks for the gorgeous vid and thanks for sharing the technique.

Hi Susan, a tip on how to get this type silk stretched. I wet the silk then I sheet of paper towel. As I dry the silk cord it gets stretched. Take the end of the wet silk cord and wrap the paper towel twice around it, as u pull the cord through the paper towel. U will end up w a dry and stretched cord at the same time. It works every time. I do it about 2-3 times. Takes 1 minute or less. 2nd tip, if u r a knotter u will have left over silk. I put them in a jar. After I have a bunch, make the tassels!
