OMG, ANNIE another year have passed. This POWER PERIOD REALLY IS NO JOKE. I just want to take time out to say thank you so very much for posting this video. looking back over the year so many of my wishes came true. I'm sooooooooooooo blown away. Now this year 2021 the Solar Eclipse will be in my 11 house of Gemini W.O.W. I don't know why but I'm very excited. Some of my wishes are the same but on a larger scale. Once again THANKS SO MUCH, for sharing the Power Period with us.

I never thought of it that way the sun representing a will and the moon representing a wish. It actually explains some things like how I'm very much about getting my way and hating relying on others or others doing things for me, and I enjoy being out in the sun but not so much being out at night.

Thank you! I love your explanation of wishes vs intentions. Interestingly enough, on my birthday this year, I made some wishes -- just for the fun of it. It felt so light and free when I did it -- and it was cool to hear you talk about the difference between the two here. I'm going to practice wishing on the new moon (and maybe look up that info about the energy of the new moon too to match it up) -- but wishing feels so fun, light and free compared to the "grown up" spirituality that I am used to doing all the time of setting an intention. Thank you for confirming and reminding us all of the lightness, fun and magic of the Universe!

Thank you this was very helpful and interesting. The wishing thing goes against what we've been told by LoA people who say wishing accentuates your state of lack and therefore the universe will bring you more lack...so i guess this pays no heed to that. So many theories, so hard to know which one to follow. Going to try your method anyway as I like the sound of it :)

Annie I am so excited about this video . The reason why is because I saw this video two months after sun went into my 11th house , last year. On May 21 of this year the Sun and Mercury with Mercury being the ruler of my 11th house will be the day the two are conjunct each other. going into my 11th house. I've been waiting a long time for this transit. Can't wait to see what happens. any thoughts?

Hi Annie! Very interesting this.. it appears though that I only get a 12 gpp period (Placidus house system) which seems rather small in comparison if someone gets 6 weeks! But I can also do it through my Sun sign period (Virgo), not just birth chart period, can I? Xx

that happens sometimes when people have small 11th houses! but yes, you can also do this in your solar chart, too. I do both each year and it seems to work very well.

@@AnnieBotticelli Maybe I ought to use the whole sign system because if I do, it places Pluto, Venus, Midheaven, and Uranus in my 11th house!! And it gets bigger rather than a meager skinny one. You can wish at any time and your wishes could have more oomph for manifesting during any astrological power period. I talk about this more in my book Planetology :) But just to list a few, any new moon or full moon, birthday, Sun going through 11th house, Sun crossing ascendant, even at sunrise and sunset every day

You get extra wishes for your birthday and new moon combo! You would have to run a solar return chart to see what time the sun gets back to your natal position. This changes every year. But in absence of that any time on your birthday I am sure will suffice. Blessings!

Sometimes it takes time for things to restructure for us to become a vibrational match for what we ask for. I have seen some GG wishes be granted with a surprising quickness, others may need repeating on other power days over time, and still others we may fall out of resonance with over time as we look back at what we wrote in the past. A good rule of thumb is to re-ask for your top wishes that haven't yet been fulfilled until they come true :)

Your birthday wishing portal is definitely still open but do be especially careful about what you wish for and I always like to add "in Highest ways" or "Highest and best for all involved".

How do you figure out the Grandaddy power period for a solar chart instead of natal?

Hi :) you first run your solar chart (putting your natal sun on the ascendant on the day and location you were born) Then see what dates the Sun is moving through your 11th house each year. You will need an ephemeris for this but you can access one for free online :) happy wishing!!

Hi :) You can use the New Moon wishes this way until your next birthday. also, if you can figure out your Granddaddy Power Period, which is when the sun moves through your 11th house, you get 40 wishes at that time!

Light and love Annie! Thank you so much for this video! The new moon is August 2, 2016 in Leo which is today. My birthday is tomorrow August 3rd (Sun in Leo) and my rising is in Virgo. I have a vision board I update every new years eve but with me being a Lightworker, and herbal/empathic healer my mother taught me how to read my birth chart (basic). But I want to know how I can find my forty wish period? Is there someone that can help me find my 11th house period? I will be taking advantage of this New moon and my birthday period 10 wishes as I always do a ritual on the new moon and fullmoon month but never knew about the wishes. Thank you so much again!

I always recommend consistency using birthday wishes and continuing to wish for things that haven't manifested yet on each New Moon and Birthday cycle!

For birthday wishes, should you read these out loud on your actual birthday? Just for one day or more?

You could do more reading out loud besides just on your birthday but just once will also suffice. Even more important than the reading out loud is the FEELING as if each wish has come true. One by one imagining the feeling is one of the quickest ways to help them manifest. and you can do this daily for as long as you are drawn or until it comes true~

Hi! Did you figure out your Grandaddy Power Period from looking at your natal chart and determining the dates that way? or are you looking at it from the perspective of your solar chart? If your Grandaddy Power Period starts August 8th then you get 40 wishes during the weeks of the period and another 10 on your birthday. You can make notes before then but wait to start writing your official list until August 8th :) Excited for you!

You can make your wishes anytime on your birthday, the energy is strong the whole time. You would need an astrologer to figure our your solar return time, unless you have software, then you can run a solar return chart for 2022 birthday and the time will be on the chart. Happy Birthday!

Wishes can be complicated things. If you are not a match for your wishes, then continuous wishing over time is necessary so the Universe can help you restructure your inside space to be a match for that which you wish. Don't give up!

The more impossible the better! You have nothing to lose by asking!! Just remember the rules for wishes that I outline in the video. Many a wish hasn't come true because of not honoring the rules :) One that comes up a lot is asking for something specific, like the love of a certain person, a certain house, a certain position at work instead of seeing what you would gain from having that certain thing and asking for the essence behind what you really want as motivation for asking for that certain thing. Hi, Emma :) Different wishes can take different amounts of time. I have wishes come true within weeks. Others took me wishing over New Moons and birthdays for years but ultimately came true. Just keep wishing! Don't give up on your dreams :)

lol, Alfonso! those may be tough ones to manifest but if you can probe deeper into what your desires are that make you want those things, and then wish about THOSE, you may be more likely to get what the spirit of what you want. for instance, it sounds like you want life to be easier for you. So you can wish for that. and it sounds like you want more privacy and personal flow in the 'new normal', which are things you can keep wishing for and focusing on.
