Am glad that you love our pampangueno food. Yes, San Fernando and Angeles are the best places to find the best kapampangan food. Also San Fernando is famous for its lantern festival towards the holidays and the real re-enactment of the Lord's crucifixion during the Holy Week. You should see it. It draws a big crowd of foreigners and locals, as well. Bon Appétit!

An authentic Kapampangan sisig has no egg. I'm sorry to say this but that's a NO NO! The owner of that restaurant is not a true Kapampangan or he is probably from Manila or outside Pampanga.

That why I have a great tastebuds and love to cook... my great grandmother was a Pampangueno and our family male or female loves to cook!

In our dialect, manyaman pamangan translates to delicious food. Kapampangans cook well because we like a lot of ingredients and we also like to season food very well. The prep time is long especially when it comes to social gathering and feasts. We spend a lot of time and money in food like our ancestors. Many cooks know how to cook well not because of formal culinary education but due to years of experience.
