I have the 2021, been out 5 times. When doing the upper range I top out at 5800-5900 rpm at 32-35mph with SS prop. Baitwell works decent, you do need to bump into reverse to prime it. Handles and trailers super easy. I did upgrade a few things, added Trolling holders so forth but this boat for the money is sweet. For a 15ft it has alot of room. I put the fulton swivel on the trailer, royal pain but now it fits in my one car garage with 3ft to walk behind. Saved me about 30in of space. Order a fulton backer plate for $15 and replace the junk ubolts, then its much more stable on the 1.5inx 3in section of tube stock. Was always a Boston whaler fan but I really like this boat.

I had the 17 ft and liked it but moved up to the 19 ft and LOVE it. Came with a 115 Pro XS with Command Thrust. Redlines at 6300 RPMs. I've had it to 5000 and it is SCARY fast. The Mako line are the Pitt Bulls of boats. You cant go wrong with a MAKO!

If they had a dual console version of this boat, I would buy one... I would want the dual consoles to be further forward against that large front storage compartment. And with a nice tall windshield with the hinged center walk thru.

Any reason this wouldn't be ideal for fresh water lake/river use only?

Can this boat handle the Great Lakes, like Erie? Can it handle Ocean say 5 miles out? Or do I need to instead go with a Tracker Super Glide V16 with it's deep V design they claim can handle rough water?

I’m curious.... how does this boat perform when weight is added. Let’s say.. with 3 grown men, water in the livewell, ice and drinks in the cooler., a trolling motor and battery. Will it plane out and run at a decent speed? I have the 16 pro skiff maxed out with a 40hp. Under those same conditions my boat is a “Dog” it just plows water.

I have the same boat I hate mine it stays in the shop more than in the water, as of now it is taking on water in the hull and most of the plastic fittings are cracked I just bought it new from the dealership 4 months ago.

This makes me feel better about 28 top speed in my triumph 15cc with a 40hp 2 stroke.

gas tank swells up underneath aft deck. Cant get it out on a hot day. they should cut a hatch so that you can fill it without removal. There is no forward cleat to use an anchor- only cleats on the gunnels. Nevertheless, its a solid boat, paid $16,000

Does it slide if you want it too? Nobody talks about handling? A boat should be fun to drive too, so how it slides and takes waves etc. are important, all anyone talks about are the features, what they like and dislike etc.

I bought one in August of 2018. One year later, the livewell still doesn't work and I can only get 5000 rpm and 30 mph out of my 60 hp Mercury with standard prop. I mentioned both things to Bass Pro shop when I took it in for 20 hour service. They disregarded the rpm performance comment and told me to put the boat in drive and move forward before turning on livewell pump. Didn't work.....very disappointing. Like the feel and spaciousness of the boat, but those 2 things tick me off now that my one year warranty is coming up.

Its garbage 😠. The dead well is garbage and does not work properly. Mako has known about this problem for several years. I bought a 2020 and it's a 🍋. I do not recommend this boat. It's rough and sucks fuel.
