Korra and Mako weren't teammates when they started dating. They started dating after the end of season 1. At that point, both Mako and Korra weren't teammates. So, you are factually wrong.

@@cemadiby You should read the comics. It's formerly know as the Cranefish Town. Aang and the Team sets up there in the Imbalance series. The comics really answer a whole lot of questions about the shows. Even how toph sets up here metalbending school and later a police force.

Yeaaah but Bolin’s dating track record is also a mess. Working for the one person his girlfriend absolutely hated is pretty bad. So the brothers both need work in the relationship department.

@@CaKoMi It does get better if you read the comics, apparently Bolin´s GF had a bad bias towards Kuvira, which basically makes Bolin´s decision more ok. And Bolin acting according to the demand for skilled lavabenders like him makes sense, it´s what mako should´ve done in regards to Korra and Asami when he worked as a Cop put them on the bench and date neither.

@@sebas8225yeah, I really grew to dislike Opal in Book 4 & even more in the Ruins of the Empire comic. Opal can be really nasty when she wants to & doesn’t forgive people easily when they mess up, even when they show remorse (a trait Katara unfortunately had too). I get why she’d be mad at Bolin at first but he risked everything to escape Kuvira & warn everyone about her spirit weapon, yet it took him risking his life AGAIN to prove to Opal he was sorry? No - you don’t put your partner in danger JUST to prove they love you. If the roles had been reversed, Bolin would’ve forgiven Opal IMMEDIATELY if she’d been the one delivering the warning about Kuvira. I honestly wish Bolin had broken up with Opal after helping rescue her family, saying he did it to rectify his mistake rather than to win her back, as I don’t think he could be happy with someone who judges others solely for their mistakes & finds it hard to forgive in general, given Bolin is far more willing to give people second chances. And in the comic she seems determined to pick fights with Kuvira & keep her in the role of villain even as she tries to help them stop the real threat (Guan) from reviving the Earth Empire. As a kid she described Kuvira as a ‘stray dog nobody wanted’ - which even for a child who doesn’t get on with another, is still a pretty cruel to say. And sadly (like Katara) she doesn’t really acknowledge this flaw or work on it.

Just a recap: -He was originally with Asami. -He then cheated on her with Korra due to seeing Korra with Bolin. -He broke up with Asami, who found out about him kissing Korra. -He dated Korra until he betrayed her trust. Then broke up with her. -He started getting back with Asami soon after and kissed Asami. -He then cheated on Asami after Korra returned (with Amnesia) before breaking up with Korra (again). I know there's a lot I missed out due to plot, but a lot of this was due to his own indecisiveness and loyalty.

Korra literally had a talk with tenzins wife where she decided it was perfectly OK to seduce another woman's guy but when she had him she wasn't happy and kept picking fights with him to the point that he lived at the police station. She even used Bolin to get mako jealous, yet makos the bad guy

To be fair, this isn't Mako, it's the writers. Now they certainly had issues that came from Nickelodeon. But not all of it. Everyone knows that Toph was originally a boy and was the Earth Bender in the intro that was later used as Roku's Earth Bending Master. But it was also planned that he would be slightly older than Team Avatar (16-18) and a rival for Katara's affection. We could have gotten this in AtLA! Thankfully Aaron Ehasz was really pushing for Toph to be a blind girl and managed to convince the creators by suggested a martial art for her that was supposedly created by a blind woman.

Don’t forget about how after breaking up with Korra, Mako started making moves on Asami again. However, Korra loses her memory and forgets about the breakup, and he acts like nothing happened, pretending they never broke up to begin with.

That’s not exactly how it went down , after mako and korra broke up the first time ,mako was helping asami with a case about her company . Now mako was just being a friend , but asami made the moves on him ( she was in a bad situation and he was his shoulder to cry on) now mako is still guilty, cause he got back together with asami less than a week after the breakup with korra , also you gotta understand when Korra forgot about the breakup he technically had two girlfriends at the moment and had to make a choice , so he panicked with his decision .

Νο Korra is the worst in relationships! Korra kissed Mako in front of Bolin which is in love with Korra, Mako said Bolin that the kiss was nothing, Korra started dating with Bolin cuz Mako started dating with Asami, Mako broke up with Asami to be with Korra but cuz Korra is the worst in relationships she broke up with him, Mako and Asami started something again but they broke up far a reason and at the end Korra and Asami ended up together! My biggest problem with Mako kind of comes from his personality he comes off as kind of snobbish and a kiss up not to mention his annoying officer mentality Which definitely shifted for the better and season four and the end of season three when he really started growing on me

Korra was pushy and unreasonable, though I don’t recall Asami being anything but maybe “too perfect.” He should’ve stayed with her and cleared things up, instead of going back with Korra. But that’s just my opinion.
