Trekking or horse riding from #Pay_top to #makrapeak base camp is a breathtaking journey of 2 hrs. During June, the whole area of paye meadows, the forest and again meadows at the base camp is lush green. We hired two horses to go to base camp from Paye top and each horse costed us 1500 rupees for single side.
Sunrise at Paye top was lovely and a thing not to be missed. After having the breakfast, we started on horses from Paye top. Early morning, the lush green meadows and sun light on the dew drops above grass was enlightening our soul. Crossing meadows and forest, it took around 2 hrs to reach up to the base camp from where the real adventure starts for Makra peak summit. Beauty of nature stunned us at the base camp. It was so neat and clean and the rainfall just one day before we travelled, made the grass and the trees neat and lovely.
One thing that I missed during this travel, was the water either waterfall or stream. Unluckily, there is no such attraction in the whole Shogran, Siri paye and up to the base camp
