I first heard this song 4-5 years ago. My mother passed 3 days ago and I didn't even remember this song title, but I found it. THIS IS HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO TESTIFY BEFORE THE LORD

This is moving me to tears...Thank you for posting it. Rev Issac Douglas use to come to my church all the time..and watching him here is making me sad. He got both of his legs here..but the last time he came to my church he was in a wheelchair and one of his legs had been amputated. And he sang just as hard in the wheelchair as he did on this tape....He was preaching and singing as he rolled himself down the church aisle in his wheelchair, singing under the anointing!! I remember I couldn't take it. the passion &..the power in the way he sang had people falling out and I went to crying!!! b/c I was so overcome with the spirit...He was a great gift to the church body and is sorely missed. How appropriate When I'm Gone the Last mile. This man was a singing machine I loved his music...and thanked god I got to tell him that many times b/4 he passed.I loved his singing and preaching ministry...Rest In Peace Rev Issac Douglas

+Diane Johnson Ms. Johnson--I am trying to do some research on Rev. Douglas for my undergraduate thesis project. His recordings were so incredible and his history is so overlooked in Gospel. Very little that was written about him in the press has survived, so I'm trying to collect as much as I can in terms of personal interviews. Would you be willing to talk with me so I can tell you more about the project? You can reach me at timdillinger@gmail.com. I would appreciate it more than you know!

This Preacher/Singer reminds me of a young man that poured out of his soul at his church and abroad, Pastor Shawn Jones. GOD has a select few that he ordain to show us how to maximize our time on earth no matter how long we are here and these two men are just a few to.mention in that category. 40s and 30s are a long time to be an example for people to follow. No they were not perfect but they loved GOD with every fiber of their being. Blessings

So was he gay too? I see there are accusations on tiktok.
@dnisey645 ай бұрын
The question isn’t if he was gay but was he a repentant homosexual. Just because that’s what you’re attracted to doesn’t mean you act on it. An adulterer is just as guilty.
@imthatmom23464 ай бұрын
@dnisey64 I was just asking a question. I honestly don't care if he was gay, bisexual, Trans etc. We have all sinned and falled short. He that is without sin cast the first stone. He is still a child of God.
@dnisey644 ай бұрын
@@imthatmom2346 that was my point in asking. Publicly pointing out someone else’s faults and failings isn’t what’s it about but their and our repentance and moving on. Not continually condemning them.
@imthatmom23464 ай бұрын
@dnisey64 lol I wasn't pointing out his flaws. I just asked a freaking question which I have the right to do. I have the right to say what I want to say just like you have the right to say what you want to say.
@dnisey644 ай бұрын
@@imthatmom2346 even if it messed up someone else’s name and maybe an on the edge but not quite sure possible new believer? Ok, gotcha. I’m done with this conversation. The dead man moved many in his lifetime. What about you? Have a great day and a good life. I’m done and am sorry I impeded your rights.
