Ciao, this breakfast bread with tomatoes reminds me of southern italy, where my father was originated, i loved to eat the so called Fresia, which are dry bread, which should bei soaked in warm water, so it will be soft, and thank tomatoes, olive oil and a little bit Salt.. delicious.. many greetings from brunswick in germany and please stay safe 🙃

You were supposed to put the oil on the bread. Simple as that. Pan con Tomate is usually a toasted bread with a tomato rubbed on it and a drizzle of olive oil.
