Aavesham (transl. Excitement) is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Jithu Madhavan and produced by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed under the banner of Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. The film stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, alongside Hipster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotial supporting roles. The music was composed by Sushin Shyam, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Sameer Thahir and Vivek Harshan.

Bcoz 2023- no prithvi movies.He was shooting all movies in 2023 to release it one after the other with a blitzkrieg effect in 2024. Goatlife is just a start. Kaaliyan Vilayath Buddha Empuraan Khalifa Karachi 81 Guruvayoor Amabala Nadayil Prithvi is gonna rock this year.Also certainly other mallu movies too.

There is a comic bit that non-keralites will miss. During the fight scene in front of the college, BK squirms through the crowd and asks “whats happening?”. Some random guy in the back responds “സംഘട്ടനം”, with an added bass. Though the word means “fight”, its a more textbookish form that was used in 80s movie credits. His added bass reminded me of 80s action star Jayan. A brilliant piece of writing right there.

Watched the movie avesham alone in morning show expecting it would be filled with youngsters instead got theatre filled with family audience who were enjoying every bit of the film. Going to watch again this time with my family. Absolute festival movie & a repeat watchable movie.

I had more to relate as a mallu who get riddled into a land case with local Gunda in bangalore in the same area of Yehalanka who's name is also Reddy with white colour uniform. I was wondering how Jithu came up with the same character and area. God knows whether he know that goon called Reddy in Yelahanka.

Your review is exactly 💯. I went to watch with half mind because I am fed up of mass movies but this was a mixof humour, action thriller and it actually gives us Aavesham throughout the movie the adrenaline rush in the first half when Fafa comes in. Everyone played just brilliantly.

तुम सही कह रहे हो भाई।💯. 95% of audience are still watching Bollywood movie's just because of their fav actors like the grate srk, hrithik, ajay devgan etc.. At the end of the day Bollywood doesn't hav good story's like malayalam cenima. The main problem of Bollywood is nepotism.

Malayalam movies also contains nepotism , but tbe difference is that here nepo kids openly admit that they came from a movie family and are extremely good at the work they do . Here its easy to come to industry but its a real struggle to stay in the industry. Dhyan srinivasan , Dulquer Salman , Arjun Ashokan , Prithviraj , Indrajith , Pranv Mohanlal etc etc are all nepo kids but are skilled in acting . Thats why they stay in the industry this long

The comic comedies in avesham may not connect easily to non malayalam speakers, but for us it get easily connected as we were grown up seeing comic comedy movies like CID moosa, Ee Parakkum Thalika, Aadu 1 etc ❤ avesham my rating 8/10

I am obsessed with this film. Initially on the 11th it only had one show midday here (Minneapolis) So I missed it. Then because of demand it returned a week later and has been showing since. I have gone 3 times.

Fahadh’s performance is just perfect. No one else could’ve played this role. That dumb charades scene was just incredible.

Everyone utilizes fahad’s eyes. But here the director said his script is not deserving to use the power of his eyes so they used the glasses. Also he said my movie is a block buster with lag in the second half. Not many are there dare enough to talk like that about their movie.
