Not really.. if you want to travel especially during holiday you must book a ticket atleast 1 and half a week before travelling.. meaning there are enough users

Semi high speed actually. But yeah thats the fastest we got for now and as long as its affordable and convenient, its not a complain for how fast it can travel.

To me, minimum 240km/h is consider high-speed. Malaysia do not have a high speed train. Just to do one high-speed rail (HSR) take them idiots years to decide. Indecisive, Malaysia is a shame. Even China also get fed-up. Indonesia just go on construct it and now completed. Will be running at 350km/h once the train from China arrived.

"Malaysia is a shame" comes from a country that is ambitious to build a 153km high-speed train, but stumbles on various financial problems to repeated cost overruns that eat up the state budget😂 Who's embarrassing? a country that is considering allocating funds to connect the east coast to the west coast of its peninsula with fully electrified semi-high-speed rail, or a country that "forces" to build a short-haul high-speed train to make it look the greatest in the world but on their project runs into problems many times? even your country's regular train is not as good as malaysia's. instead of upgrading, they immediately build a fast train.. so who's embarrassing?

@@suhandatanker ERL is the fastest train in ASEAN currently. After Jakarta-Bandung HSR is expected to surpass that in couple months from now making our ERL the second fastest in ASEAN.

@@fab8490 there was a KL Sentral - Johor - Singapore HSR planned but it was cancelled a few years ago due to budget constraints, good on Indonesia for going ahead.
