Azmi Ali is definitely the wrong person to in charge of the economy and investment. Firstly, he has very little training and exposure in trade, economic and investment which require good reading, negotiation and analytical skills which he is clearly lacking. Secondly his heart and soul is not into his current job which requires full attention and keeping abreast with the current International trend Thirdly, he is power crazy and more interested in personal gain. He is more of a political operator than a bureaucrat.
