But no one is suggesting Cosby's behavior was anyone else's responsibility. They're asking about how it affects those in his circle in their present, ADULT, post-show lives. Key difference.

I was on the show playing Bill’s protege. He treated me with so much respect and honor. Malcolm was and is a great brother. He was 16 I was 26. The whole cast was generous in sharing their tv home with so many hopeful black actors who just wanted to be on that show. There was not much tv work for black actors in New York and especially a black show. Every black actor wanted to be on it. A coveted credit. Whatever Bill was going through, there was no African centered healing in place. Fame can be a deadly drug.

One thing I believe is very instrumental in where he is is his parents’ tutelage and guidance. He was kind of more fortunate than most black boys even before the Cosby show . Being on the Cosby show just put him in the map. In my objective opinion, I’ve never considered him a great actor or even good as in everything I’ve seen him in he’s basically the same person, Theo lol. With that being said the brother still works frfr. I was so happy to see him in Sons of Anarchy and though I thought the show was cheesy and not that good it was still great to see him and Tracee in Reed Between The Lines. He’s one of those actors that you like to see but not because he’s great but because you can tell he loves what he does.

I still watch and enjoy the show. I don’t excuse what Mr. Cosby did, he paid the price and is still paying. But, I can separate the two. There are many men out here who do evil and it’s never discovered, so I think for me I just remind myself that this was a celebrity but also a human being. And many of us have done wrong in our lives and expect to be forgiven or given another chance to exist once you’ve sort of paid the price for your actions. The show shouldn’t suffer.

You know as I listened to Jamal speak.. it kinda gave a me of doing away in my head of Cosby actions.. Like I couldn't at 1st watch the favorite historic if I may state without thinking of Cosby action and still watch the show with my younger son. But later I allow my son to watch bc that show represents many existing households "the show". A wholesome working class household with high morals Not perfect but still a busy family trying to work things out as the come. And without crime and welfare. This show should all black families do have education, nice living, a family who are being raised respectable. So many of us watched with comfort viewing just another perspective of a black family. Watching Theo lol joking.. Jamal today I would really enjoy watching a reboot minus Cosby! Family all grown up having their own lives.. hack this could be a series.. IT WOULD ultimately work! Happy to hear his parents kept close watch and best interest in Jamal. Not many are displayed. Kids stars growing up on tv and living mentally not so well behind scenes. I enjoyed this video.

You couldn’t do an entertaining reboot today anyway. Cosby is almost 90!! Would he still be making funny faces and rambling on about yooooouuuuuuu and all those elongated funny voices he used to do. Put grandpa in a nursing home for cryin out loud. All the kids are adults and probably moved outside of Brooklyn. Are they all supposed to come together for one common goal for who knows how long. They did that in 2002 I believe called Cosby: A Look Back. I haven’t seen it in many years so I can’t recall if they were all together sitting down and telling old stories about the show. The show is tarnished because of Cosby himself. People would be shitting themselves on Twitter talking about everything but the show. It’s not worth the hassle.
