@@scarlettechanelle1705 I don't know what accent they were going for. Since the Seelie Queen is ancient, she might have a very old English accent, so it might sound very different to the modern British accent.

Hello_Dolly YES THANK YOU!! If you go on tumblr it's almost all gifs of kissing and sexy scenes. Most (not all) but most malec fans are just thirsty and attracted to the surface of the couple. If they truly wanted equal representation they'd LOVE seeing a gay couple fight, break up, Apologize, communicate. I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years and yet this tv couple that's been together for all of a month have Better communication than we do. It's amazing to see this couple being treated with such love and respect by the writers. And they're truly pouring their hearts into these storylines. Maybe it's because I'm a lesbian that I'm able to enjoy the deepness of the relationship because I'm not fixated on the actors looks or their "hot" scenes. But I feel like SO many of the malec fans could be a bit less thirsty and a bit more mature and deep

@@danarenee6088 I've always thought of Malec relationship as pure, raw, honest, mature, respectful, sweet and loving. I love how they communicate with each other and how they treat one another. It's incredible to see some Malec scenes where they don't even have to TALK to understand what each other's thinking. That's what i call SOULmates. These are the bigggg factors why i love them sooooooo much.

Alec and Magnus both have similar tics. If Magnus with fingers, Alec with hands and recently his ring. Magnus also did the finger thing while he walked down the aisle

But they still can't come up with a better plan and seem to try to accept the idea of needing the Seelie protection? I think they all agree that the Seelie offer is better but struggle with the trust part. But that's the same problem they have with the clave who already deceived them. Magnus being scared seems to be very much in character, he was hiding from Valentine before and got ratted out by a warlock friend, so I hope they will explain that deeper and not write it off as him being overdramatic or stupid. It just sucks that he'll experience it again now and I hope he won't end up with nothing at the end of the season.

True he is really not angry at Alec that's why he was drinking (as a buffer) before he went to face him, at the end of the day I think Magnus is just trying to protect his heart and his people. He clearly is still much in love with Alec.

I think that's a very valid reason. Or just a defence mechanism since he's so heartbroken... a fake til you make it kind of thing, since it seemed so fake and out of character. It's obvious that he's brokenhearted.

TBH I didn't think he was being hostile, he was trying really hard to be standoffish in front of the queen but Alec kept hammering an indirect apology which I think Magnus responded to based on his body language. Alec saying "its a work in progress" was clearly directed at his relationship with Magnus and how he is trying to work on it.

I think the directing/writing was also a bit poor there. I wasn't aware at first that the Seelie Queen didn't want them to speak at all during the meeting and assumed they can talk but she makes the last choice based on those talks and that Luke and Raphael simply didn't wanna say anything. But it seems they all agreed to be rude during the meeting to their friends.

Remember when Magnus said "there is a catch" the down world leaders letting her speak on their behalf was the catch.

I think it's just a mask... a protection mechanism since he's so heartbroken. But it could also be his plan... maybe he suspects that the Queen as some sort of involvement with Valentine and is acting like a double agent to catch Valentine... I don't know, but I'm almost sure that regardless of the motive it's not being petty and we can see from the break up scene that he's not mad at Alec.

I think they just didn't show because they didn't have time... but I'd like to imagine that Izzy and Jace (hello dudes, you're parabatais!) understood that they broke up and said something about it. Even Clary must have understood that since Magnus seemed totally on the queen's side and so cold that he and Alec weren't at least on good terms.

I think he's just trying to fake that he's like that... it seemed fake to me, like an armour to hide his true feelings... a protection mechanism. He's falling apart yet he wants to show the queen that he's totally on her side in order to save his people. We know that he loves Alec and he even said that when they broke up, so he's trying to bury that part of him as much as he can even if it's harsh. Maybe he thinks that faking this persona will help him really get over Alec... like "fake til you make it". That's my interpretation at least.
