I tried to do something different this time, I enjoyed the live action of Sleeping Beauty (and how they showed parallels with the cartoon in their own way), Angelina Jolie nailed the quote, the mannerism and the voice of the mistress of evil, so I hope the second movie will show her evilness as Maleficent is one of my favorite Disney villains of all time. Hope you like the edit!

To be honest I didn't like the changes they did in the movie (I get what they were trying to do, but it didn't work for me) With that being said, I loved the edit and all the parallels you added with the animation!

I agree with you, I really like how they bulit her an original backstory! The changes were interesting. lessened the motive and the importance of Aurora's curse (not to mention the personality of Maleficent) but I like them, someway I really like when the good ones become villains for a motive. I loved the movie though, Angelina is able to give evil vibes even if she is a semi-villain in the movie. I hope the second chapter will be more faithful to the original character.

@@littlesociopath I hope the same! Angelina was great in her portrayal overall. Especially, the monologue where she first placed the curse on Aurora was stunning!
