I really appreciate you doing this tribute to Ted White. As someone who never had the pleasure of meeting him, it's great hearing the perspective of someone who was truly close to him. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Thank you for sharing some of those personal memories with Ted. he was a great man, and we all feel a loss with his passing, but I know for you this is a much more personal loss. Your friendship with Ted has helped so many horror fans have a few precious moments with Him at conventions and he, as well as all of us fans will forever be greatful for that.

So sorry for your loss, Sean. Ted seemed like such a warm guy who loved what he did. As we get older we start to feel time shift around us. The days may be long, but those years are increasingly short. If you live a long enough life all your friends leave you behind, so everyone should do what you did with Ted; cherish the people you love.

Been waiting for this one!!!!! Edit: after watching the intro I feel like I need to say thank you Sean, for sharing your thoughts and memories of Ted with us. My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. It’s a very, very difficult thing to watch someone you love slowly forget you. By the end she thought I was my dad. My goodbye to her was very similar to your goodbye with Ted. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend but I want to thank you because you made me think of her and I hadn’t done that in years. I supposed I repressed it. Anywho..thank you Sean..much love brother.

You seem to be one of the only people/channels to have talked about Ted White, and I think it's a shame... He is arguably one of the best stuntmen with a very long and respectable career, even if he didn't play huge roles. Like, the man was 58 years old when he played Jason Voorhees in the Final Chapter, and already had 20 years+ of experience in the stunt business. For me his portrayal of Jason was the best(alongside Richard Brooker's, may he rest in peace aswell). Despite not wanting to associate himself with the franchise at the beggining, he came to accept his role as he got older by going to conventions and meet with fans. From the interviews that I've watched, he seemed like a cool guy and he always had some stories to tell about his years in the business. You would just sit there and watch/listen as it was always captivating. May he rest in peace.

Another fantastic episode! I appreciate you sharing your emotions with us at the beginning of the episode, Sean. RIP Ted White. The Lost Boys movie theater experience story had me in tears laughing 🤣. The bathroom attendant Get Off My Lawn segment also had me cracking up 😂

I think we can all agree that Halloween Kills was a huge missed opportunity. They dropped the ball a lot more than I thought they would. As far as Ted White... What an absolute legend! The “GET IT OUT” had me rolling😂. I have similar feelings about Ends as you Sean. Enjoyed it and it’s surprises but have a couple issues with the final product. I also heavily enjoyed The Munsters which I had didn’t have high hopes for.

Sean, thanks so much for opening up at the beginning of the episode about Ted’s passing. When I was at Flashback with my husband this past August, I had the same thought about how you can’t help but feel sad as you watch your horror icons age and, eventually, pass away. Like you said, this is a fact of life that we all have to deal with at some point. It can be easy to let it get you down, but instead I try to focus on enjoying every moment you can with those you love. It’s great that you were able to develop such a close friendship with Ted (like a lot of the other horror celebs you work with). PS…I’m glad I had a chance to meet and speak with you and Nay briefly in the hotel restaurant during breakfast one morning (and thank Nay for the awesome work she did on my Elm Street house). Anyway, big hugs to you and all who knew and loved Ted. May he Rest in Power.

Thanks Sean for that intro. I read your post, when you posted about Ted White that day you found out, which was on my birthday. I was at a little horror convention in my local hometown in Pennsylvania that day, Horror Sideshow. I never got to meet him and heard great things about him. I'm so sorry for your loss, bro. Folks, don't bring your baby to the movies. I know what you're going to say, "I can do whatever I want". That's the answer we expect from a selfish troll. It's rude, and it's not fair to the paying customers that are there to enjoy their time. Get a babysitter for crying out loud. I'm a dad, and my wife and I made the sacrifice to stay home until our kid was well behaved enough to participate in nice restaurants, movie theaters, etc. Wish more people were considerate. One of my favorite YT channels ever, Sean. It's been so cool to see you come up over the past 20 years or so from back when I was real active on the indy Myers mask forums. Even now that your platform is much bigger you are super humble and always answer my DM's so courteously. Thanks for that. Sorry to hear about your friend passing. My best friend passed abruptly 1 1/2 years ago; he was only 40 years old. You're lucky to have known Ted, and I understand what you mean about these icons fading out with age. With that in mind, I really hope to meet a few while I can, with Tom Atkins being at the top of my list.

There was a Friday the 13th marathon on AMC on Saturday I believe it was. And the Final Chapter was on. My girlfriend who only appreciates horror movies now because of me LOL asked me who plays Jason in the movies? And I said there are different actors. But the individual who plays Jason in this movie is a man named Ted White. I explained to her how he was an actor and a stuntman for many many years. And now I see this. 96 years old. He had a good long life. And a wonderful career. My condolences to you for your loss my friend.

Ted was so awesome. He did so many movies, he told me he had no idea how many he did and the fact they changed the movie name from time of shooting & release. He lived an awesome life. So many of his life stories were so amazing! And the fact he would take time to talk to me? Who am I? Just another guy right but I was priviledged to be his friend from '12 until the end. We hit it off and he gave me his card. I do have his book. I had talked to Jeri a few times as well. I'm so glad you were his agent because it was not just a business deal, you were friends and you cared.

Sean you've got me worried, I know you guy's have already had The Thing 40th Anniversary screening but here in the UK we don't get to see it on the big screen until this Halloween which is a plus, only waited 40 year's to finally see this gem on the big screen, got those headphones in the booking, haven't been to a screening before with this option, fingers crossed it's a reasonably quiet audience 🤞

Well I’m really glad you recorded that intro because you feel exactly like I do. For sure it was a good movie and I was entertained but all the same issues you have with it are the same issues I had with it as well. I feel a little bit more vindicated now. But again I enjoyed the movie I’m not somebody who is hating it at all but it would’ve been nice if it was done a little differently or perhaps we had a chapter in between Kills and this movie that helps tie things together a lot better. Really sorry about Ted I wish I had the chance to meet him. I actually had just purchased a part 4 mask to go under my crash shower scene hock that I bought. And I was literally shooting the video to show it on my channel when I heard what happened to Ted, so I dedicated the video in his memory. Thank you for sharing your story of how close you guys were and again I’m real sorry for your loss man.

You're a good man Sean Clarke. Very poignant and heartfelt. Ted White lived a hell of a life. My mother has Alzheimers and its a terrible illness. Very hard to see someone slowly disappear and yet remain. So painful. He had a good innings and a peaceful end. RIP Ted.

I am truly sorry to hear about Ted. I took care of my dad until his passing due to Alzheimer's Disease in 2020. When your best friend and dad doesn't know who you are anymore, is something I would not wish on anyone. The long goodbye.

I didn't go to conventions for years due to the fact I always went with my father until he passed away also alot of the people I met and got autographs from are also gone it doesn't get easy losing people i been to alot of funerals this year very hard great tribute to Ted

Jason Blum seems like a smart guy and I know everyone involved with the Blumhouse Halloween trilogy is a fan of the franchise and has worked very hard to make the best films they can however Ends just left me cold I was totally perplexed by the first hour and almost walked out but I sat through the rest and just sat there bewildered. Anyway congratulations to all involved and I can't wait to see who will pickup the franchise next and how they'll reimagine this beloved franchise.

I was wondering where this went! Glad it's back! I think I commented how excited I was to see the movie the next night when this was originally posted. After my girlfriend and I left the theater my initial reaction was "That was different and weird...but I really dug it!" I wanted to sleep on it and I couldn't because I kept thinking about it. Watched it again on Peacock, and digging it turned into loving it. Watched again the following night, and it's become my second favorite Halloween movie, and Christopher Nelson and his team ended up creating my favorite kill in the franchise with it! Also, I always thought the line in Halloween 2018 where Laurie says "Michael Myers killed five people." Should've been kept vague, maybe she says "Michael Myers killed my best friends," and didn't give a hard number. That way they could've played with thr flashback in Kills more by letting him kill more people in 1978 And I am deeply sorry for your loss. Ted White was one of the greats, and THE Jason Voorhees

My mother passed away in April from Dimentia so I experienced everything you were describing about Ted. I live in WV but I knew who he was from the Friday the 13th docs. I always liked him because he reminded me of people in this area. The old school type. No nonsense, professional. Got a kick outta him describing what it was like working with Corey Feldman.

Had the opportunity to meet and speak with Ted 10 yrs ago at Texas Frightmare, we talked abt all kinds of different old movies.. it was something I’ll never forget 🙂 rip Ted god bless 🙏
