Malibu, California really is 21 miles of coastal beauty. Come with us and we'll show you 13 things to do when you visit this gorgeous coastline destination in southern California near Los Angeles. We had so much fun and had the best weather when we went! The beaches are incredible.
Death Valley. Malibu. Santa Monica. Channel Islands National Park. We closed out the year with an epic road trip to California in style, checking out some of the best SoCal has to offer - beautiful coastlines and beaches, gorgeous mountains with hiking and mountain biking trails, tiny islands off in the Pacific Ocean, and also the hottest, driest and lowest place in the United States - and hottest in the world. Not only did we sneak in time for some fun on rollercoasters and other amusement park attractions at Santa Monica Pier. You’ll love it. Wound up going back after this trip and hiked Sandstone Peak and Mugu Peak and just loved both.

"Because Magellan just looooves to make me get up early." LOL! As I watch this and increase my jealousy, I think about the idea of traveling LA without a car, because public transit has improved so much in LA. You can grab the Expo line from Union Station to Santa Monica, then grab the 534 Express that takes the PCH all the way to Zuma Beach. Could be a fantastic day trip if you're staying right by Union Station. THAT SUNRISE & SUNSET! I remember driving that PCH and up and down the Mulholland Drive on our babymoon. JUST. NUTS.

It has. We needed a vehicle mainly because of all the hopping we did. This country is so vast. This place is its own kind of special.

Wow, you guys sure got around, I really enjoyed seeing all that you got to do and so glad there were clouds for your sunset and sunrises. Solstice canyon looks amazing! On the PCH. LOL. Love this tour. Thanks for the shout out, too. ❤

Wow! This is an incredible video. 13 things to do! I have never seen some of the places on the list and I am sure I am going to check out these in coming weeks! Definitely, beaches, sunrise/sunset, surfing and food always go hand in hand at Malibu. Amazing video!

There are so many trails in so many parks. You could spend a month here and not see everything. Really wonderful place!
