It can be seen how the entire video is dedicated to Kami: they miss him, they place some flowers next to a corpse and they pray. There are a lot of death references in this video. The lyrics also indicate the same thing : the dance of sadness and love/driven crazy by the white skin /the thorn of fate, the time sealed/away in my heart, now.. . . Edit: even the title of the song, 白い肌に狂う愛と哀しみの輪舞, means "Rondo of crazy love and sorrow of white skin", which is just another reference to Kami. A "rondo" is "a musical form with a recurring leading theme, often found in the final movement of a sonata or concerto.", from which you can understand the words "theme" and "final movement" very well.

considering this was their first song after kamis death i believe it, the whole pv seems soaked in grief to me (not solely bc of the gothic themes, but it certainly contributes)

@@e.i.3077 Actually it was before he joining officially: if I remember, I think Mayonaka was the only PV of Bara no Seidou era where he appeared and it was mostly footage for the Bara no Konrei movie. He appeared afterwards in Gardenia, Beast of Blood and Garnet PV. So it was no "hidden" xD

I got into MM after they had disbanded and I agree. I think most fans prefer Gackt because he was so iconic and stayed with the band the longest but having been introduced to MM through a Beast of Blood AMV, I really had a hard time adapting to Gackt's voice. I now love them both but Klaha was by far the best vocalist, those notes, that drama, that stability... man, Gackt could never. Shame that he faded into obscurity. I hope he's doing well, he deserved so much better. Gackt left the band when they needed him most but the band left Klaha when he needed them most.

I think they were referring to Kami's (the band's drummer) death in this one with all those symbols (coffins, roses, a dead or sick figure lying in a bed, Mana crossing his hands etc)
