Right!! That shit would have been epic. Even for Preseason! That's the kind of patience and smarts I want to see from a mobile QB. I really hope everything falls in place for this kid. I don't want to give up on mack cause I still think he was set up to fail last year! But his poor attitude kills me and you don't want to see that in your lead guy. He is a weapon at qb. If you watch Hurts and Mahomes in last superbowl qb has to be a weapon running. Josh Allen a weapon running. Rodgers is know for throwing on the run and scrambling until d brakes down. All the best ar mobile if not runners when needed. Must have a mobile qb. Statues will not due in todays nfl where DE are running 4.5 and 4.6 and are 6ft5. Some can't accept it but qb has to be mobile these days.

His throws looked far more powerful then zappes. And he had a better understanding on how to run. I think it was second quarter were Zappe ran and slid like 2 yards short of a 1st. And then we failed the 4th down attempt. From what I saw he should jump both who ever that other guy was an Zappe and compete with mac. Because i dont truly believe mac a true starter

Future for the Pats is now with this kid. I mean neither Mack nor Zappe can do this! He played in a Power 5 Conference in college and in 21 he had close 3000 yards passing and over 1000 yards running!! Belichick should give this kid the same amount of time at QB as Mac and Zappe for the rest of the pre-season. This kid might be ready to be the starting QB for this season@!!

Patriots might have something here. I would like to see him against first team defenses. I mean these were against a defense with a bunch of bench players, late round picks and undrafted players. I do hope he can prove his self...he has a good shot in New England to make the squad and maybe become a starter. Jones isn't exactly a lock as starting qb the whole season. Kid looks sharp though.

It was 1 drive, but you could tell plays where Mac and Zappe would have been sacked this kid makes a play. If anything he should atleast be allowed to fight for QB2, since both him and Zappe would be playing with a horrific 2nd 0Line unit, atleast this kid can make a play on his own.

The fact they foul him like that , means they fear him , defiantly is an amazing QB better than all others Patriots have , however the NFL does not punish much teams when defenders do foul hard, players like that , but give fines just the "players" not the "teams" for few couple games and bucks , therefor the culture of violence injuries upon attacker players will continue with first in target the runners/QBs
