Been hearing the same thing, kind of hurtful for those who love and respect the style and wish to become as great as the ones we see on film. Speaking from personal experience by way of Minnesota and pops being from Chicago. Love and respect to all skaters and thanks Malik for sharing !

JB style seems to be the predominant style in Tallahassee FL. Having fun learning at 54.

Right on! From the SF Bay Area and not at all hesitant to say that the JB style is by far the smoothest skate style out there. Much love. Hopefully I'll be representing some smooth Chicago style moves out here in the Bay one day, always with appreciation and recognition for the originators. Keep the tutorials coming bro, it's great to have someone of your generation make JB Tutorials in Chicago. A lot of people are inspired by the style of JB so it makes sense to get ahead of it to bring structure to new beginners learning the style. Foundational moves are everything in JB, much needed.

Do me and a lot of us a favor......please.....make beginner skating videos IN GENERAL! PLEASE🥺 From the first day of learning to skate *on quads*, to the next step to the next. Be detailed in thorough on thought process of 1st days on quads to 1st days trying advanced techniques, etc.
