I was a big Mallika fan and even recognized her while on set while we were shooting for Zero in the US. However, she immediately blocked me on her Instagram account once I started dialogue with her about an incident on the set. She lied and was defensive and I was very disappointed in her reaction. Seems her "fame" has gone to her head and she is NOT truly interested in female empowerment as she promotes. Her immediate response of blocking me spoke volumes.

To be fair, she is old news. No new content, no shows, she doesnt, and will never have her special. Idhar udhar stars ki chaat.ti hai bas. Kahin anchoring ya 2 min camera k aage khade hone ka mauka mill jaae. (Ye chaatna tou pitaaji se hi seekh liya hoga inhone, afterall, she is Vinod Dua's daughter.) Her comedy was repetitive always. It is almost like she was a refined version of Bharti Singh. Just like she has one character and one style, so does Mallika. Mallika is a better actor though. That I will admit.

That's how most of these young celebs are, try to tell them something they don't agree with and their defensive celeb mode turns on. Also, what else could one expect from her after the way her hypocrisy came out when her father was named in a #metoo allegation.

She literally abused a women in 2017 and called her disgrace and scum because she asked Zaira Wasim and questioned her about the infamous flight case. The whole feminism wave is on her mind right now. One of the most irritating personality right now on internet.

#MallikaDua and #SnehaMenonDesai, this was, as usual, a great interaction. The "Kela" and hydration advice were fab as well as the stretches. It's good to know the route you tool to make a path for yourself and the journey into the discovery of the chaos in the workplace one has to make peace with. #MallikaDua: A peek into the behind the scenes of how the magic happens, the team, the lady always looking out for you, the social media person taking pics and posting them with hashtags as well as the hair and makeup person. The most important of this was your candid and 'diplomatic' take on the way the industry works. The awareness of having to make small talk as you network and the 'lagam you have to kichofy' from "Spilling the Gobbledygook", that innately wants to flow out of your mouth. What you talked about being a private person who needs some help to loosen up, hits very close to home to all working professionals. Existential questions that crop up like "What am I doing here?", "What will sound interesting?" to "Oh crap I wanna have a stiff one (drink)". You looked radiant, working out, bananas, hydration, and camomille tea really to help I guess. The clothes were cool but I kept wondering is that a necklace or some kinda cool tech you were wearing. The informality and the camaraderie of the chat was endearing, this is the one thing we have to come to expect of a #SnehaMenonDesai tete-a-tete. In all the both of you brought a smile to my face and the various layers in the conversation were really deep. @SnehaMenonDesai: Monday morning blues were swept away with this enlightening tete-a-tete. The one thing that I noticed was "no cue cards" to shuffle and your complete focus on #MallikaDua. The eye to eye contact and the slightly shifting to face her made for that vibe of positiveness to come alive during the entire interaction. Clothes and accessories were classy as usual, the smile sparkled.
